I love this spot, the food is great when you want gastro pub feels. We went there on a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy. Only wish they had more staff waiting on customers because it took a while for the server to make his way round to us, and food to come to the table. There was a live singer, who did a great job with all the songs. Also, make sure you try the sticky toffee pudding and onion rings ☺️

The food was quite good. The servide needs a substantial upgrade. The food was delivered in a totally haphazard way. Two meals for a party of 4 came almost 15 minutes before the remaining meals. No explanation provided, When the acting manage came out at the very end of the meal to see how eveything was (no one had checked prviously) he seemed a little surprised at our criticism. He did offer a free dessert but by that time we just wanted to go.

Do not normally like to eat in Hotel restaurants but this one listed as 5 stars. I was not disappointed the appetizer and entree were fantastic, tast and well presented. The only issue is my companion tried to order 2 different cocktails from the menu but they didn't have the ingredients. However, the service was great and I would definitely go back!

Always a great atmosphere! Staff is always great. I'd put their nachos against any in town! Loaded with caramelized onions and bacon !! Great spot for a business meeting but it's downtown Halifax, parking is going to be an issue if you're looking for street parking. Parkade next door will let you get there via the Pedway though.

I had the Cobb Salad, so good! This is a great spot to eat in Halifax. It's close to the ferry terminal and connected to everything in the downtown core. You can walk from the hotel and restaurant, to the casino and shopping centre without having to step outside. I

We were looking for a late meal after attending a performance at a nearby bar and the menu looked good so we decided to book. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. We shared the nachos and they were different from the standard pub style nachos, with tasty toppings and they were layered really well. We also enjoyed the chowder (daughter said best she has ever had) as well as the halibut tempura dish and the lobster roll. We will definitely return.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel and came for dinner one of the nights and it was wonderful. He had the cod and I had the risotto and both were really good. Our waitress was lovely as well and the atmosphere was comfortable and it was not very loud when we were there. Highly recommended!

Very weird experience at this place. We had a table booked for 2 at 8PM. We showed up at 7:55PM and the waiter told us our table was not ready and she needed to check. She came back a few seconds later and put us in a dark corner of the restaurant with no other clients. The menu we have been given had only one main plate option and only a few starters. The rest was drinks. The atmosphere was so weird, the menu not appealing so we left. Not sure if this is because 8PM is late and we got a late night menu or if there was something else going on. Anyway we did not feel comfortable at all. We may give it another try as this place was recommended to us by a friend.

We checked inn earlier today at the Marriott and had to wait for our room where it wasn’t ready yet. We decided to stop in at the restaurant in the hotel to wait for our room. I believe our servers name was Cody he was able to make some great recommendations and make our stay more comfortable while waiting for our room to be ready! Thank you so much!

Great drinks - Sophie was our server, she was fantastic, really social and sweet. Joked around with us about our singing skills, she let us know that she was in charge of the play list this evening! My friend and I agreed that this girl needs to be the dj every night moving forward. Recommend the food and the drinks. And the music. If Sophie is in charge of the aux.

Got the concierge club benefits. The food is absolutely inedible. I had a salad. No salt in anything except the olives. Off tasting almost fermented partially frozen green beans; Tasted as if a bag was left to slowly defrost 🤮Server was excellent. Menu options on the concierge club are very minimal. Husband had tacos that were” meh”

I'm been here twice while in town staying at the hotel and the food is really incredible. Heavy focus on farm to table with strong support of local seafoods and meats. The food is delicious and prepared perfectly. The menu is creative and the service was also excellent. I like how the restaurant is in the middle of the hotel lobby, it adds a really interesting vibe. Cocktails are top notch as well with good creativity.

The entrance for the restaurant is by the front of the harbour. It is in the Marriot Hotel building. Google map just drops you at the hotel, which was a bit confusing for my case. I ordered vegan food summer harvest bowl and another ordered was aged PEI with chicken. Portions were decent size, atmosphere was calm as it was Sunday morning around noon. Overall good experience 😊 No parking, so park in casino parking

we ordered a few items and had a few cocktails that were really good. Everyone was accommodating with the special dietary restrictions of our family. Ingrid was by far the gem of the evening. She had a great recommendations of places to visit as well as a few hilarious jokes. I travel with my dog everywhere and they had a menu just for dogs with six options. I have never seen this before and will definitely be taking advantage of it in the future. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
