HARVEST Clean Eats (Downtown Halifax)

I did eat anything waiting for the staff to attend me but two girls were hanging around here and there such a shameless customer service they have been provided. Just saw the customer and don’t even say even say just a sec or else. Just ignore the customer and did whatever they want. At last after long wait I have to left the place.

I went for the first time last week and ordered the breakfast sandwich. I asked for vegan, as the menu says everything can be made vegan. So... there was no meat, no egg, no cheese. They used tofu and veggies, and then charged me an extra $1 because they weren't sure if the bread was vegan and used a wrap instead. With the cost of meat and egg, I think i actually saved you money by ordering it vegan.

Food was at least 7/10. The gal at the counter was lovely. I got the coconut chicken bowl. Good but definitely NOT worth the 25$. Likely won't buy again, simply because of the price. Way too much

When I came to pick up my meal, even when it was not busy, the waiting time was extremely long and the waiter ignored me.

Seemingly healthier options for a chain, but still chain quality goods and services.

Harvest downtown location is terrible. I usually go to Bedford location and liked it. But I went to downtown location this morning to get coconut curry bowl. I notice the portion is significant lower than what I had in Bedford. When I opened it up, only 4 slices of chicken and NO roasted sweet potato. 100% not worth $22. Nothing like the picture on the menu.

I feel good when I eat here, they have really thoughtful healthy and tasty options. Today, I had a seasonal salad (kale, arugula, roasted carrot & pumpkin, feta, walnuts and green apple) which was delicious!

I was looking for a healthy option for lunch before catching a flight back home to California. I saw that Harvest was in close proximity to my hotel and gave it a try. It is the cutest little restaurant with healthy options, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

The restaurant is super bright, clean and inviting. There is lots of seating and the cutest little table with swing chairs. The staff were very friendly and attentive and immediately took my order. The food came out quickly, and was fresh and hot. My husband and I enjoyed their Black Bean Burger Crunch Wrap and the Thai Tofu Peanut Satay Bowl. They both had great flavor and were great portion sizes. I’d highly recommend for a quick lunch or dinner if you’re in the area!

I have been coming to Halifax for business and I really like the healthy options they have. The food is always delicious and fresh. I have tried this 3-4 times now and it has never disappointed me! It’s a great option when I’m on the road.

A sit down or take away restaurant serving smoothies, rice bowls, wraps and salads. Lots of choices vegan and gluten free options. 4 blocks uphill from the waterfront. Friendly staff. Across from Citadelle Hill.

Walked into this spot for a quick lunch. Cool vibe. Food was somewhat tasty. We were enjoying until we noticed a mouse scurrying around the restaurant, which kinda freaked us out. We pointed it out to one of the employees, who responded ‘management is aware of the problem and they’re dealing with it’. Gross!!
