I spent a few hours at this coffee shop today. The coffee was fabulous. I met the owner and spoke to him in length. What a great guy. I complimented one of his plants and he offered me a clipping and at the end of my stay he offered me a complimentary coffee! I was blown away by his kindness. This is what it’s about folks. Great people doing great things. I will definitely be back. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere also.

This Cafe is a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood!Hold Fast is authentic, relaxed and their food and drinks are Oh So Tasty!Although Covid has made it challenging on everyone, I really do miss sitting inside at Hold Fast.Every time I am there, I fall in love with a song playing. I also really appreciate how CLEAN it is. The staff prioritize atmosphere both esthetically and from a position of hygiene.They are one of my favourite places, and I hope it will soon be yours too!

Truly one of the best cafes in the city! I can only drink decaf and it’s been consistently delicious every time I’ve gone, which is hard to find. The entire staff is friendly and amazing, and I’ve felt safe visiting during the pandemic as they’ve been safe and clean.

Was grossed out that the worker used his ungloved hand to brush the extra coffee from the espresso compartment before making it but made myself drink it since it cost $7. Didn't find the quality as good as many cafés, not worth the $ and especially hygiene risk.
