We were a group of 6, a variety of food options ordered and 6 happy full tummies!! 😋 Quick, friendly staff and the gluten-free spring rolls were delish!
Back in the early 80’s, the first Vietnamese restaurants in the HRM opened, including Thu Do in Bedford….i always liked their Bun dishes ( vermicelli in a bowl topped with spring rolls, bean sprouts , bbq pork, etc… so it’s great to see Bun and Pho in Bedford again… we go there often, it’s friendly, affordable, clean, relaxed and the portions are generous. We Love Pho!
Pho is very traditional and taste like a great pho.
View on the bay
Maritimes perfection
Win Win!
Tastes similar to mom’s pho. Does the bahn mi’s traditionally like in Vietnam . The gluten free (cha gio) spring roll is better than the normal spring roll. Banh xeo also yummy. Would recommend and have been back many times.
The food was mediocre (edible but bland/basic) and service was not very friendly.
Best Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Lemongrass Beef Noodles), Bun Rieu (Tomato Crab meat, Vietnamese sausage Noodles), Bun Thit Nuong (Grilled Pork Vermicelli with Spring Roll) in Halifax. Definitely come back!!!
Great pho and bun bo hue always hits the spot!
I love pad thai and I have been to many thai/vietnamese restaurant because of it. I ordered pad thai here and it was burnt. I can literally taste straight charcoal. It doesn’t have any tangy taste from the tamarind and its not even sweet or sour. I’m not sure what they served me. I tried to finish it because I am so hungry from work and I am really craving pad thai.
Paid $15.96 for a tablespoon of rice and chicken red curry. This is absolutely unacceptable. Unfortunately I was already home and saw this. This is customer abuse
Probably the most authentic place to get Vietnamese food.

Ordered the grilled pork chop and rice, beef pho and shrimp salad roll. Service was quick and okay, they don’t accept tap. Salad roll was alright but only came with two shrimp and the peanut sauce was very acidic.
Mains were very bad. Grilled pork was the wrong cut (too thick snd undercooked and incorrectly seasoned. Egg was overcooked so no yolk and rice was reheated sticky rice that was put in microwave too long so it was tough and dry.
The pho broth tasted identical to the super store boxed brand. The noodles were extremely thick with a rubbery taste and texture. The beef tasted ok but was very thick and tough to chew. The portion was also about half of the amount than their competitors.
Have been coming here since they opened and their standards have dropped significantly.
So Phoking good
Don't let the atmosphere get in your way. Fresh and tasty!
The best pho in HRM! Friendly service also
This is the place for traditional Vietnamese
