This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Halifax, if not across all of Atlantic Canada. The portions are generous, the flavours are authentic, just like the food I had back home in Vietnam. The service is fantastic, with a homey, business-like atmosphere. The owners go above and beyond for their customers. I can’t recommend enough!!

I’ve been coming to I Love Pho for over 3 years, and it’s easily the best pho restaurant in HRM. This is the place to go if you’re looking for no frills and absolutely delicious food.
My favorites include the Banh Mi with Vietnamese Coffee, the Bun Dac Biet vermicelli, and their pho dishes: Special Pho, Sate Pho, and Bun Bo Hue. Every meal has been fresh, flavorful, and far superior to other pho spots in the area. The only other place that comes close is Pho Maniac downtown, but I Love Pho remains my top choice.
The staff are friendly, the service is reliable, and the prices are fair. If you want authentic, high-quality Vietnamese food in Halifax, this is the spot.

Came with my son, we both ordered the beef Pho. Was pretty good, the broth was good, portions were just enough. Would have liked to see the salad roll with vermicelli, mint and basil inside the wrap. Overall service was good and we were happy.

One of the best pho spots I’ve been to! The owner was so welcoming and kind. We had the sate beef and bun bo hue—both broths were super flavorful, and the bun bo hue was amazing. My friend found the sate a bit too spicy, and the owner even brought us a regular beef broth to balance it out. Such great food and service—highly recommend this gem!
