Service is good, while the dipping sauce are tasteful
Such a fun experience. Great service
I usually come here when I visit Halifax and I’ve never been disappointed there’s always plenty of options for food and the fact it’s a all you can eat is even better
Best hotpot place in Halifax.
The staff is friendly, the environment is nice and clean.
Highly recommend.
Staffs were friendly and location is amazing but ingredients were not fresh at all. 😓 Better to make it by myself at home.
Dreadful, will not be back.
A friend and recently I had dinner at In Spring Hot Pot & Asian Fusion on Salter St. It was our first time doing hot pot and we both really enjoyed it. For $29.99, we got 2 broths plus everything on the buffet, including sliced meats, meatballs, seafood cuts, different fish balls, many types of tofu, noodles, mushrooms, vegetables and more. There is also a good sauce bar where you can even make your own sauce mix. For dessert (included), we tried the ice jelly and taro sago coconut milk which was light, not too sweet, and a great end to the meal. There is also a premium menu if you want to upgrade your selections but honestly, we didn't feel it necessary for our first time.
I always wondered about these type of buffet and how they managed to control food waste and maintain freshness so was pleased to see that almost everything was frozen! The buffet itself is a salad bar meets ice cream freezer to keep everything at the right temperature. Be sure to try the sausage and fish balls as they are really tasty.
We had the spicy malabroth (definitely spicy, even for someone with a very high tolerance) and chicken which was quite light and a nice option for more delicate flavours. On our way out, we passed a table having the mushroom broth and that smelled heavenly.
The server was very sweet and helpful, even as the restaurant filled up and she was the only one working.
Overall, a really fun, interactive and delicious experience with great value. We'll definitely return.
Love the ambience, and the food!

The ingredients were very stale and the seasonings had a foul smell. I vomited and had diarrhea when I got back after eating. I need to get the compensation I deserve.

This place is great!! It’s 5 stars ? We stopped in around 730pm on a Sunday night after a long day of travel. Staff were wonderful and checked in regularly. The selection was fantastic! My partner is vegan and she was very happy with her choices too. Yes it’s all you can eat, but be mindful. There is a charge for wasted food, and rightfully so! They are very transparent about it too, so any one complaining in a review - you’re ignorant. This is our first time at a buffet style hot pot and it’s awesome. I wish we had this in Alberta. 10/10 must go here. Great atmosphere too and wide variety of great music.
