The pho is amazing and has brought me relief when I've been sick or hungover on multiple occasions.
Always hits the spot, so good!
The korean bbq chicken banh mi was so so so delicious! Will be back for sure💯
Good banh mi
Today I looked in here for the first time and was delighted. I got myself a Banh mi with meatballs. I liked that they asked me if I should put all the ingredients in there. They made it very quickly. I really liked it, the bun was crispy, the onion seemed to be marinated and very tasty. I was very surprised by the meatballs, they were not greasy and very tasty. It was a little harsh, maybe there should have been more sauce, but overall I am very pleased, glad that I went in and tried it, now I want to try other flavors.
Used to be reallly really good, but the quality has gone down recently and I found the meat in my bahn mi pretty flavourless and a weird texture, and it was expensive! But the spring roll bowl isn't bad.
wonderful food… love the Banh mi.. toppings are so fresh and good enough quantity

The food is edible, the price is pretty good for Halifax, and the portion is fine.
The food could use some work, though. Everything is lacking the sweet element. The Vietnamese dipping sauce, banh mi toppings, and pho broth all need more sugar. They advertise as being "healthy" so it's possible it's an intentional choice. It changes the usual flavour balance of Vietnamese restaurant food, though. The thing that really grinds my gears, though, was that I wanted the experience of a bowl of noodle soup. The noodles, for some reason, were cut in about one and a half inch pieces. Perhaps they thought it was for a child or something. I wanted to be able to pick up a heap of noodles and slurp on them on this cool autumn day. Instead, I got to fish them from the bottom of the bowl with a spoon. The bread the banh mi is on is actually really good. I'd probably get the sandwich again before the soup. If the noodles weren't disappointing it might be 4 stars.
