I was a student at Dal, needing reasonably priced high quality grub. Indochine Banh-mi’s are outrageous, my favourite sando in Halifax. From the pickled veg, fresh herbs, to properly seasoned/prepared fillings it’s the best. Just returned after a couple years and it’s just how I remembered. Would highly recommend.
Today I looked in here for the first time and was delighted. I got myself a Banh mi with meatballs. I liked that they asked me if I should put all the ingredients in there. They made it very quickly. I really liked it, the bun was crispy, the onion seemed to be marinated and very tasty. I was very surprised by the meatballs, they were not greasy and very tasty. Used to be reallly really good, but the quality has gone down recently and I found the meat in my bahn mi pretty flavourless and a weird texture, and it was expensive! But the spring roll bowl isn't bad.
