Johnny’s Snack Bar is right at the top of my list of favourite places to eat in Halifax. It’s a true North End gem that’s been family run for over 40 years ! You can feel the love in every part of it. The food is consistently perfection, no matter what you order. From old school flat top burgers and breakfasts to daily specials, pork chops, fried chicken, and their incredible pan-fried haddock, everything is done right, every time.

Heard good things online so decided to pop in and give it a go myself.
Right away, johnnys has an old school feel. Booths to sit at, or the classic bar along the front.
I sat at the bar and was helped fairly quickly. Ordered up myself a western omelette. It arrived in decent time and was hot and delicious.
The home fries were great too, have never had them that style, but they were good!

Both were beautiful. Its a small family run Greek restaurant. It costed up to 40-50 cad. The portions were huge. Loved every bit of it.
