Stopped in for breakfast at Kempster’s and it totally hit the spot. I had the Senior’s Special, the home fries were perfectly crispy, the egg was cooked just right, and the grilled bologna was so good. My wife had the breakfast quesadilla and loved it!! It lots of flavor and they even customized it to her liking. The coffee was hot, service was fast and friendly, and the whole vibe was cozy and relaxed. Definitely one of those classic local spots that never disappoints. We love Carol, she wasn’t our server this time but she’s served us a few times in the past. Kyla was our server today and she was lovely!

Have gone here many times, it used to be 1 of our favorites. We were very disappointed in the presentation, taste, texture of the turkey dinner. The meal was not hot and actually no flavor.

9 of us went here for Thanksgiving diner on Sunday. Let me tell ya....WORST FOOD EVER!!! The dinner was so cold the gravy was starting to gel. The stuffing (i asked for extra which I didnt get...but was charged $2 for, thank god they forgot it) the stuffing was a thick pastey puck of glue, it was beyond gross and cold. I got fries instead of mashed potatoe...cold fries, cold vegetable mash. Everyone's food was horrible!!! The pie was just as disgusting. Im actually pissed off that i paid for that meal. My husband was the smart one who ordered a clubhouse instead. We will NEVER be back for a holiday dinner. 🤢
Good food for an inexpensive price with great service. The late in the day breakfast is a plus on weekends and the menu is full of reliable standards, all of which are for a fair price.

On a tour in halifax. Stopped and ate as part of the tour. Lobster roll and salad were perfect. Jennifer and Elizabeth were so hospitable. Don't know if ill ever be back in Halifax but this stop was memorable. Highly recommend. Wish i couldve had the Club sandwich it looked amazing.
