Rebranding as Kempster's Cookhouse was a smart move - place feels revitalized and the new menu is attractive. Went for breakfast and had the brisket eggs benny; really enjoyable with generous portions and quality, juicy brisket. Hollandaise sauce is on point. I would have went the full five stars if the home fries were more memorable. Service here is always great though; the staff are very friendly and good to carry on with. I had a nice conversation with one of the servers...
I go here for brunch on a regular basis and normally order something from the breakfast menu. I was out with another group tonight for supper and I decided to order the French dip cheesesteak. I managed to eat less than half of it. The meat was sliced too thick, there was very little of the veggie mix on it, the Swiss cheese that was mentioned on the menu was not real Swiss cheese, it was too orange.

For diner food it is normally quite good. If something isn't quite right, they will gladly fix it.
The friendly and personable staff are extraordinary, and they work hard and quickly.
I've had breakfast, brunch, and lunch here many times. It's our goto spot with two close friends.
