“After 7 days of poutines, French-Quebec cuisine, and cruise food, the spicy Korean food was a welcome change of scenery. Halifax is a beautiful city and Gangnam BBQ is an asset to the local foodie scene. The entire staff was friendly and the service was awesome!“

“I've heard several times about how good the Seoul Chicken is so I decided to try it today and it was superb! Not too sweet and not too spicy and the texture was terrific. I brought it back to my office and let a co-worker try it and she immediately changed her lunch plans and headed to Scotia Square to get some herself.“

“I have been frequenting Arirang for a number of years now, both for their table grill and for menu/dish dining. Every time, the food has been great - both in terms of quality and quantity. Fresh and flavourful - I am a particular fan of their pork belly! (Had some for the grill this week, and the cut was perfect, in my opinion).

The biggest challenge is saving room for Bingsoo for dessert - had to come back a second time this week, because there just wasn't room after our mixed grill the first night! :)“

I took half mozzarella with classic Korean topping.
Staff was super friendly.
Prices range from 6 to 9 cad.
Only downside is you shouldn't sit inside and eat.

“I've been waiting to try this for so long. I loved the staff and the restaurant was so clean and inviting. I was so excited to try this but personally I found it to be not as great as I thought. There is too much breading and not enough filling inside the Kon dog. If they had options with just a little less breading and more meat or cheese, that would have made it all worth the trip. Hopefully they can adjust The recipe and I will be able to return to enjoy. Staff was 10 out of 10“
