Went for a dinner with a friend at 7.30 on a Friday. It was moderately crowded. Became almost full within an hour. It is a very decent place in terms quality and size of portions. I ordered the chicken valley, and I surely recommend it as a full nutritious and delicious dinner dish. The waiters were responsive and very helpful and pleasant. The vibe was beautifully vibrant and the creme brulee is definitely a must. Highly recommended!

"Travel to beautiful Italy".This is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. Especially for this money. Great cozy atmosphere, very beautiful stylish design in a dim soft lighting. Probably the only place where I wanted to take a photo of the toilet to show how cool it is. Very pleasant in conversation employees. Diverse range of alcohol for the bar and cocktails (I know a little about this, home bar is my hobby).I really liked the fact that you can taste the drink before ordering a portion. This is available in some places, but I haven't come across it often in all the places that I visited.We ordered Pappardelle alla lepre(Rabbit pasta) & Special dish(Feature pasta). And for drink Bombetta beer & Pinot Noir wine. As you can see on photos, we tried a couple of different wines before that one. And food and beverages were very-very-very tasty. Yes, I mean it. With my desire to constantly find new places to visit and eat, I now have a definite favorite in this city for important events like Christmas Day or a romantic evening.Highly recommend... no.. "Must have".

I went with a friend last night (my first visit, not hers) Dinner was excellent. Our waitress was fantastic, she dealt with an issue we had very professionally understanding and kind. We had lasagna and the ravioli, and salads and finished off with a scoop of gelato. It was all very good and worth a visit back.

We were four people out before a concert. The food was excellent, there was much variety on the menu. Portion sizes were generous. As seniors we could have easily each had a soup. And shared a pasta. The bursts salad was so flavourful, and the gnocchi were light and perfectly cooked.

The food was good. Although if I'm ordering pasta, I usually expect to be offered fresh cracked black pepper, which was not.On further inspection of the photo I took, I can actually see a hair in my food (front left) that I missed at the restaurant. Knowing that I ate that hair is making me change my review from a 4 to a 3.

This is one of the best italian restaurants in halifax. The food was amazing, the service was also very good. It is a perfect spot for a datenight with great ambience and food.Vegetarian options: You can modify or ask them to remove meat or seafood from the original dish.
This is mine and my husbands tried and true higher end dining spot. Every single time we go we have an amazing time and the food is great. I personally think that is what should be considered when reviewing. Does it meet your 5/5 rating every time you go? The atmosphere is lively but classic, food is cooked to perfection, drinks are yummy, and desserts are a must. There is a reason you typically need a reservation for this spot!

I will write a review every single time I come here!!!! By far my favourite restaurant in Halifax. My partner and I have been coming here for the last three years and we’re always remembered by staff, and if we’re there for a special occasion it always feels celebrated by everyone. We go every year for Valentine’s Day and even though it’s super busy (rightly so) our server always ensures we have an incredible experience. Emma was our server last night and she was the sweetest, most attentive person ever! Thank you La Frasca team for being so amazing!!!

I went for dinner at La Frasca last night. The gnocci with the lobster and the calamari was amazing. Our server, i think her name was Elizabeth, was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond. Cant wait to be back.
