“Tried the Patacone with chicken and it was amazing! Meat was really flavourful and juicy and the garlic sauce was so yummy. I don’t usually like plantains but they did a really great job and made it crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would definitely come back.“

“LOVE this place!! For a Halifax waterfront resto it is very reasonably priced. Food us authentic and delicious (my wife's father's side is Mexican and she vouches for this place). Atmosphere is super Latino, from airy to all the tiny tiles...they must have spent serious money on the decor! Also: 4pm to 6pm happy hour! Almost unheard of on the waterfront! Must haves: guacamole (they just call it avocado and chips I think), pan sabroso, and carnitas tacos. Also basically everything else. Seriously good food! I've been 3 times in the last 3 months - it's my go-to and hasn't disappointed yet! Enjoy 😉“

“I recently moved back into the area and was hoping to have brunch here every weekend. I had the Madurito breakfast which was a wonderful treat. The flavours were exotic and well balanced and I left quite satisfied. The breakfast came to $30.00 including tip. After searching online, I found this was almost double the price of any breakfast in Halifax. Wonderful food, but keep in mind you are paying for inflated food costs and for specialty ingredients. Not affordable on my budget, unfortunately.“

“We ordered empanadas, arepas and black beans for lunch. Everything was extremely delicious. Try the cheese and pork empanadas, and the pork arepas with extra cheese. wow!“
