This was my first visit to Look Ho Ho in quite some time. I started with the wonton soup and two egg rolls. The wonton soup and egg rolls are easily the best in Halifax and their plum sauce, which is made fresh daily, is exceptional. I could drink it from a cup. I also had the General Tao Chicken and it was excellent as well. Many thanks to my very friendly server and the staff in the kitchen for a great Chinese meal. Easily 5 stars!!!

Ordered pickup of a c11 tonight, General Tao chicken and rice with an egg roll. The 1st thing I noticed when I got home and opened it up, was the orange-red color. No spicy smell that usually accompanies this dish. I dug in eagerly and was immediately assaulted with a Sweetness overload! It was sweet and sour sauce, not Gen Tao. So I decided it was worth the drive to go back and get the correct dish. I called the restaurant and the woman who answered was the same one who waited on me, (and I tipped) I told her I had received the wrong sauce on my food and she put me on hold for 30 seconds and then came back and told me she gave me the right food. I reiterated that it was sweet and sour not Gen Tao. She asked if the chicken was in balls, I confirmed it was not in balls but pieces of battered chicken. She said if it was sweet and sour it would be in balls and red. I confirmed it indeed was red. She essentially called me a liar, said she packed it and it was fine and too bad for me! I advised that I would be leaving this review as I'm tired of spending my hard earned money at places that have no integrity. This place has NONE!! I'm sad because I loved the General Tao chicken there. But eating (because I was hungry) sickly sweet & sour and the complete lack of customer service has convinced me to never waste a dime in this establishment again! TIP: if ordering take out, check the order yourself before you leave the restaurant because they WILL NOT make it right!!

Wow, this is my go to place for Chinese food going forward. I had delivery from Uber. Bring it to my home which was 25 minutes away. It arrived hot and fresh great portions. Very very tasty. I’ve had Chinese food before but this place is on the top of the list I will be returning again and again thank you so much. Great service great food much appreciated. I had the sweet-and-sour shrimp beef, fried rice, chicken balls. Everything was fantastic and hot and package very well.

4.5 stars. Vegetable chow mein had a generous variety of vegetables and the service was very attentive. Prices reasonable. Bathroom very clean, always good sign for any restaurant.

really loved ordering from look hoho the food has always been great. Until my last order a bbq pork lo mein dish. it did taste ok but after two bites i had to start looking through the dish for a piece of the bbq pork. when i did find a tiny piece of pork smaller then a pinky nail i went through the whole dish to see if all the pieces were the same which 90% were and only 11 little pieces all together. I felt since paying $19.00 for the dish and only getting the small amount of bbq pork was kind of a rip off i called the restaurant to ask if this was the normal serving and was told the chef gives a normal portion size of shredded pork and to add extra it would cost $3.00. since the manager felt like my complaint about the serving of bbq pork was the only issue i will not be ordering from here anymore which sucks because i've enjoyed ordering from here in the past

Food is just ok. Over priced for what you get. Had to wait almost an hour for two egg rolls and fried rice. Was not worth it at all. I won't be back.

Not the best Chinese food place to go for. General tao was spicy and the fried rice had no flavor at all - they added boiled chicken over it.
Had a delivery tonight for mother's Day, and in the past I've always felt the food here was decent/good, but tonight was excellent. Everything was really tasty. One of the best Chinese food meals I've had locally.
