Honestly the shepherds pie blows my mind every Thursday. Arrived in NS from England 2 years ago and this is the best I've found. Always friendly staff serving also. Thanks guys. Oh also lasagne Mondays second best day after Thursdays. Bosh

I grab a breakfast sandwich here 3 days a week before work. Always pleasant and friendly and the best breakfast sandwiches in the city! This place really is a gem in the lower lobby of Founders Square. Home style lunches, casseroles, sandwiches, soups. Everything is always delicious and made fresh.

After visiting Mama Gratti's over the last 3 weeks. I feel that most places within 3 blocks of it have become redundant. The price is great for the quality received and I don't really see myself ordering wraps anywhere else. The Baked Chicken Breast Wrap is a good deal (partial byo where the veggies and other toppings are fresh) at approximately $9 after tax. And of course, nothing beats MedPlate Fridays because the value is insane—a fresh and tender chicken skewer...
