I came on here to list Man Bean as one of the restaurants in the HRM that responsibly sorts their refundables from their recyclables and puts them out for community members to collect. Very, very simple initiative to be environmentally conscious and help out members in their neighbourhood. Setting a good example for the South End Dining Scene and hopefully other restaurants and cafes follow suit.

Great experiences every time. The food is consistently good, the service is great, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Try the Vietnamese Iced Coffee! :) It makes for a fantastic dessert.

A quaint eatery whose atmosphere is calm and bright. I enjoyed curry with rice and vegetables. It was delicious. Healthy portions and excellent value. I’d eat here often if I were a resident of Halifax.
I cannot believe how fresh the food is!! Also the aroma of the broth they make is like liquid gold! My sister delivered her baby recently and right after delivery all she wanted was pho from this place. Every item we have ordered several times is of highest quality and portions are huge!

No complaint what so ever. Noodle bowels are tasteful and the soup base is just decent. We tried their pho and today special, and both are stratifying. It would be nice to have some more parsleys and bean sprouts when we ordered three bowels.

I was here Saturday night for takeout. I walked in and asked for the menu. The guy was surprised when i asked for the menu as he assumed that I was an Uber eats driver cause I am brown. I ordered two phos and curry chicken vermicelli. I got egg noodles in both the phos. He thought i would not know the difference between rice noodles and egg noodles. I was disappointed as it had a good flavor.
