I was here Saturday night for takeout. I walked in and asked for the menu. The guy was surprised when i asked for the menu as he assumed that I was an Uber eats driver cause I am brown. I ordered two phos and curry chicken vermicelli. I got egg noodles in both the phos. He thought i would not know the difference between rice noodles and egg noodles. I was disappointed as it had a good flavor.

I found a gem Vietnamese restaurant in DT. Food is quite tasty and fresh, service is also great and patient. In addition, their Kitchen and table are super clean and tidy. I definitely will come back to try something else.

I got the Spring Rolls and House Special Phở (I requested no noodles because of dietary restrictions and the owner was very accommodating). Both dishes were authentic and delicious! Nothing better than a hearty bowl of soup to warm up on a crisp day ?

By far my favourite restaurant in the city!! I often come alone and have the best time- the atmosphere is super calm and relaxing, the service is fast and pleasant and the food is AMAZING! Always get the shrimp vermicelli bowl with spring rolls on top- love love love this place

Took the takeout pho to our hotel. It was as delicious as if 'on site' cause the broth and noodles/extras were packed in two containers. Drank a really nice local cider while waiting. Really friendly staff.

Man Bean is a wonderful little Vietnamese restaurant just a couple of blocks from the waterfront. We thoroughly enjoyed the food there and the conversation with the owner (not sure if he was the owner or the manager?). He was so kind and gave us lots of great advice for where to spend our time while we were visiting Halifax.
The food was delicious! I had the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork on both of our visits (yes, we ate there twice over a week’s time :) and my husband also tried the curry chicken - both were DELICIOUS!
No, it’s not on the waterfront, but it’s very close by and the prices are much more reasonable than what’s available on the waterfront. I recommend eating there for lunch or dinner and then getting dessert on the boardwalk.

Went to this restaurant a few weeks ago. The Pho spring rolls and rice wrap was incredible! First time ever trying pho. I can’t stop thinking about it and can’t wait to go back. I think it’s my new fav place in the city. The staff were so kind, sweet and very attentive too. The restaurant is lovely. 5 stars for me 🤩

Highlight of our dinner was the rice pudding, which came with mango, mint, and red beans. Entrees (pho, vermicelli noodle bowl) were good too, but a month later I'm still thinking about that rice pudding!!

Been going here since 2017 when I started working downtown Halifax, it quickly became mine and my friends favourite place to eat! I still go every chance I get with my friends or husband and the service and quality of the food is so wonderful and consistent ever. Single. Time! So in love with this place ??
