Terry’s Calamari is THE BEST because he has the best idea to cover it in an amazing tomato sauce and olives that elevates it to a whole new level. 3 of us shared it, gone in minutes.
For mains we had Spaghetti Bolognese and Tagliatelle Cacio e Pepe. Perfect portion, thoughtful details with garnish, and incredible sauce (and those lemon kissed scallops... amazing). Spiced chocolate crème brulee and Tiramisu rounded out the evening. Great evening supper on the patio. Excellent service. What a gem in the city 💎

Would have been very nice if the restaurant marked this place as being temporarily closed for the week. We went out of our way to come here after it being recommended to us for it to be closed until July 29th. Very disappointed to have wasted our time.
Always a wonderful time! Delicious and unique food along with classics and favourites.

It's a bit pricy restaurant, but it is worth paying it. Foods are very delicious, and the platings are also great. Staffs are very kind to customers and knowledgeable. Parking is available on the side of the building. A nice Italian restaurant in Halifax area.

Amazing! First, the service was so good. We went for a small girls night and our waiter understood everything we needed. She had a lot of knowledge about all the options on the menu. I had the lemon drop martini all night at her recommendation!
The food was awesome. The calamari was my one of my favourites in Halifax. It stands out because it is saucy! The pasta (Tortelloni) was super creamy and packed with flavour! I’m still obsessed with vodka sauce so I love having it any chance I get. All the dessert were amazing! We all got a different one to be able to try. The lemon tart was my definitely my favourite!
I would highly recommend!

The super cosy space was very busy when I popped by. They were able to fit me in as a table of one, and I am so glad. The food was scrumptious, really really. And the staff were warm and wonderful.
Friendly service, solid food and wine.
Easy peezey night
Grazie!

The food is amazing ! You wanna have a good Italian meal? Well this restaurant is the place to go !
I can’t believe I haven’t heard about this place sooner. I absolutely love Mappatura. The service, atmosphere, and food are all top notch. This is easily the best Italian I’ve had in the city, and even if it wasn't, the staff are so lovely I’d be happy to return any time.
We had the perfectly crusty on the outside soft on the inside bread (which is from LF bakery), the perfect Caesar salad, the wildly delicious calamari (must try), and the equally delicious tagliatelle and carbonara for our mains. Also finished with the lemon tart, which has for me the perfect little crust that’s just enough.
It’s hard to find a place like Mappatura which has such a great reputation that can both meet and exceed the expectations. I’ve found a new favourite and can’t wait to come back and continue exploring the menu. Extra shout out to the sincerely lovely staff there - it was such a genuinely warm, and welcoming atmosphere.
Kudos on the exceptionally friendly and attentive service - it’s so rare these days and so greatly appreciated on a night out. We’ll be back soon.
Cozy and bright little space. Went there as the sun was setting. Gorgeous natural light and they light candles as it darkens. The staff were very courteous and attentive. Best calamari I've ever had. The mocktails are delicious as well. Highly recommend.
Food was okay, not worth the price though. Pasta (ravioli) had way too much garlic and spices on top which is too bad because the ravioli was flavourful on its own. White wine was warm, not chilled. Service was fine, not overly warm or welcoming atmosphere despite cozy space.
Tried this place 3 times as it is just so cute...but I always find the food meh. Went last night, it was cold inside, second course came too fast (not done first), risotto balls and Cesar salad were bland, and very expensive glasses of wine were no good. Partner loved the salmon special, $39. Total (Tax free and before tip) $161 Sorry, not coming back and I cannot recommend.
