We had a really great food experience during our visit in Halifax.
The food was so delicious and the service was great. We ordered the rice plate with plantains and beans, served with goat meat. And we also ordered a egusi soup with fufu. So good! I enjoyed every little taste, and we were so happy for the experience.
I am looking forward to eat there again.

Perfection. Food was affordable and tasted great. Actually some of the best food I've had in a while. There wasn't much space so probably don't go as a large group. I suggest the curry lamb.

The food quality is inconsistent and often overly oily. I dined in this time, and the service was very poor, completely different from when Mary is around. I won’t be returning.

I went on the busiest day during the weekend where Afrifest was on and pride parade as well.
But I waited for fufu and oxtails stew and by far was the best stew I've tasted. Pack of flavours, tender meat, very delicious.
I would love to see a bit more meat for the price. A bit more sauce too!
They looked very tired from the heat and being busy but it was great! Will go back again.

The food was amazing! It tasted like freshly home-cooked meals, and everything was served promptly—even with a group of eight people, all ordering different dishes.

Highly recommend dining here if you’re in Halifax.

Amazing food! I ordered the groundnut stew and they warned me it would take a little time and it did, but well worth the wait.

I gave it three tries, in case the first two were just unlucky epxeriences, but every time I've been here I was charged for something I didn't receive, things were missing from my order, the rice was undercooked, the soup was bland, and the fried plantains were dry. I've been upcharged on drinks and sides for no apparent reason. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Absolutely brilliant food! Jollof rice was amazing and all the curry roti was the best I've found outside of back home in Trinidad. 1000% would recommend!

Delicious food all around! Portions are so generous, everything is so well spiced you will leave feeling happy and full!
