Mashawee is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants out there. I love their lamb shank biryani and chicken kabsa ❤️

Among the best Mediterranean food I've ever had! The vegetable platter (with falafel) was absolutely amazing. And the spicy rice was so good I ate it all, it's not just a base for the rest of the food.

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options at this place, I'm vegetarian and loved everything I had. I highly recommend the falafel.

Heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so we decided our first meal in Halifax (after a long flight to get here) is to give this place a try. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious!

We got the Kufta Kebab Platter and the Mashawee Veggie Platter. So good! The spicy rice is absolutely delicious. I enjoyed my Kufta Kebab and the Grape Leaves are delicious as well as the falafel.

I used to like this place and as we don’t have soooo many halal options here I choose to order shawarma as I was craving for it a lot! Today it was really disappointing! The chicken shawarma the spices was almost raw spices! I could taste the raw spices which is very unpleasant! The kufta kabab I found the a chunk of raw ground beef. Really upset about today’s order!

I was visiting Halifax and next to my hotel I found this restaurant. The food was excellent, delicious, tasty and fresh. Recommend.

I had a beef shawarma large. I was expecting it to be larger than it was that values the price.

Lamb leg rice is delicious

Had shawarma player and shank, and kebab plate. Very good. Service was alright, they were training staff. Food was warm and fresh.

On September 18th around 8pm me and my friends ordered three dishes from Mashawee, Beef Shawarma, Chicken Kabsa and Mixed grill platter. The food was absolutely horrible, I've been to almost all Mediterranean restaurants and fast food places in HRM, this is the absolute worst.

I don't generally waste or throw food away even if it's bad, I just suck it up and finish it. But this one, I couldn't, the beef kebab was disgusting and chicken kebab was hard, sheekh kebab was edible and chicken kabsa was dry inside and oily. We ended up throwing most of it because of how bad it was and wasted over 65 dollars.

I don't usually post reviews, but I had to for this one because not only did the food taste bad, it also upset our gut.

When we gave a genuine feedback to staff politely they were arrogant and rude. I do not recommend their food or service, please vist somewhere else and stay healthy!
