Great waiter, Lorien!
Great and fresh fish and chips, server was friendly and checked- in on us frequently! Would eat here again 😊
Lobster roll was incredible
Not impressed.
The seafood portion was as good as it should have been for a seafood restaurant. It wasn’t special; if it were a movie, you wouldn’t rewatch it.
My real beef is with the vegetables. They were unseasoned and improperly cooked. Aside from being a textural nightmare, the blandness was overwhelming.
The staff are dull, and the floor and seats are covered in oil and stains. They could easily clean this themselves, or hire a company to take care of it for them. Instead, they dim the lights as low as they go.
I’d be surprised if this place is standing in 2 years. They’ve got to improve the menu and have some standards for cleanliness.
I attempted to reach out to the owner of the restaurant, Matt. I wanted to give him my feedback and express my disappointment. He never reached out, so I’m doing it here.
Stopped in for lunch on a cold, rainy day - the seafood chowder really hit the spot.
Wow what an incredible experience. First time to Halifax and looking for a good place for seafood.Ash was our server and made us feel at home took the time to explain how to eat lobster.thank you for making our night special. Food was amazing
Seafood chowder, lobster roll, cornbread, and lobster pasta were all great. I would highly recommend this while in town.
Delicious seafood. Highly recommend their fish tacos and lobster roll. Special mention to the crab mushroom starter. Had a wonderful time
Nice to try a bunch of apps
Absolutely amazing seafood. Butter poached halibut and smoked salmon devilled eggs wow! Everything was superb!

We came here for a celebratory dinner and the restaurant had beautiful decor, as well as a lovely atmosphere. Our waiter was excellent and the food was good. Our only issue was after eating both of our meals we found thick black hair at the bottom. Not what you want when having a meal and neither of you have black hair. Our waiter and staff definitely went above and beyond to make up for it by waving the price of those dinners. All and all would still recommend this establishment for the outstanding service.
Everyone in our party of 4 loved their lunch choices: lobster rolls, fish tacos and a haddock burger. Crispy fries and crab bisque were also good. We lunched inside, which is roomy. The outdoor dining space is small and directly on a busy, noisy street. The restaurant is conveniently located near the harbor boardwalk, right across the street from the Maritime Museum.
First time here and won’t be my last. Amazing is all I can say! Felt so comfortable and food was amazing, so many choices for anyone to pick from. Cannot wait to come back!
Lives up to its reputation as one of the top seafood restaurants in Halifax. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Our waitress Amanda was excellent.
The fish sandwich - SO DAMN GOOD and comes with a generous portion of fries.
