Everything about our dining experience was 5 star. The food, the service, the atmosphere. The only suggestion I have would be to add some panko to the oysters rockefeller.
Stuffed mushrooms, seafood linguine, lobster tagliatelle, chocolate cake, and crème brûlée were all delicious. Excellent service from Ashley was really appreciated. The atmosphere is very East Coast. It’s charming, and comfortable with some fabulously unique artwork and beautiful windows. We will be back soon!

The classic highish-end fish restaurant in Halifax (there are a few even more expensive mind you). It has changed over the years, as one expects, but in the end it remains a solid, traditional, seafood restaurant. The fare was good without being particularly innovative. The atmosphere is pleasant with some funky folk art and even motifs that go back 40 years to add to a nostalgia factor. The service was exceptional. Everyone left pleased with their dinners, but I'm not sure it fully lived up to the price.

We went to this restaurant today to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was perfect: the sweet pea risotto with scallops was very tasty, the lamb was perfectly cooked, and the dessert was good.
The price is a little high, but everything else was good

Absolutely delicious apps and mains. Had scallops, chowder, lobster rolls, truffle fries, and donair dip! Great location and lots of seating. Lovely, attentive service.

Food is ok, but ambiance, service and presentation aren’t worth the prices. The not generous lobster roll comes in a simple hotdog bread (not in a nice bakery bread for example) with fries on half of the plate, which is quite ordinary for a $33 plate. We went there because most of the restaurants were closed for the Holidays, but we should have eaten in a cafe instead of wasting money and time in that tourist trap. That place should improve the presentation of their plates and make their customer service better, or lower the prices.

Great place to get local seafood and a place of local history...formerly a firehouse.

Visiting for the first time , this restaurant was the worst place I have ever been , the service was awful not even a smile , the food is better in a food court and the price was outrageous. Do not spend your money here, you will regret it .

The food is very overpriced; for example, the crowder costs $19 and is extremely small. It's not worth the price.
