Our waiter was awesome , the restaurant was cold and the food was disgusting. We had sirloin steaks and mushrooms and onions and gravy. The steak had no flavor, mushrooms were canned mushrooms ,onions weren't worked and the gravy was canned gravy. The meal costed us $72 and it wasn't worth 72 cents.

Went to Boomer and had a horrible experience. If your planning to go downtown, the Roxbury across the street is a better option.

Sorry to say, because the Midtown is a landmark, but we just left after running in for a quick bite.

Drinks came immediately. Food came out quickly, too.

The Western sandwich was NOT worth $14.00. The Midtown sandwich was middle of the road. Sandwich protein was dry.

Biggest problem, trying to settle our bill. Waiter walked by four times. I had to go to the bar, twice and plead for someone to come over. (Bartender couldn't settle the bill)

Again, sorry. Wish the experience had been a good one.

Thank you,
Megan

If it's Pub fare you enjoy, whether it's appetizers or a meal, this place never disappoints. The food is good, beer is cold and service is always friendly. It's comfortable and welcoming.

Awesome birthday meals. The waiter was spectacular. I wish I could recall his name. Will 100% be back

Two of us got steak and fries. Fries were from frozen but nicely cooked. The steak was tender but was wet. The coleslaw was dry and tasteless. I couldn't tell you if it was cream based or vinegar based. It was a weird meal I don't want to have again.

If you're heading to a concert at Scotiabank Arena, you can't ask for a better location.

Despite how busy this place is, service is excellent. They have separate servers for drinks and food - I think this plays a big part in how quickly they can serve.

The food was excellent. Classic pub fare. I opted for the club, and the wife had chicken tenders. Both were great.

Old school sports bar. Even though it moved a few blocks years ago, it's a staple of downtown, especially before Mooseheads games. Was there last week, and it had been some time since the time before. Both times I ordered the hot hamburger sandwich with peas and fries, gravy on the side.

The quality was still there, the portion size was generous, and the price was not up in the nosebleed section.

They could have a couple more craft beer options, but I guess most people going to events just love their Coors/Budwieser/Keith's/Molson, or other generic beers.

Still, food was good, price was right, we think, because after we paid, a server visited us across the street at Roxy's saying we still had a tab. Just a little confusion, but it all got worked out.

The fish in the fish & chips was too crumbly. The thickness of the batter was moderate, and the fries were more delicious than I thought.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter and dining is all in same floor. Looks like the washrooms might be up a little flight of stairs.

Don't recommend the deep-fried pepperoni. It was very dry and overdone.
