Old school sports bar. Even though it moved a few blocks years ago, it's a staple of downtown, especially before Mooseheads games. Was there last week, and it had been some time since the time before. Both times I ordered the hot hamburger sandwich with peas and fries, gravy on the side.

The quality was still there, the portion size was generous, and the price was not up in the nosebleed section.

They could have a couple more craft beer options, but I guess most people going to events just love their Coors/Budwieser/Keith's/Molson, or other generic beers.

Still, food was good, price was right, we think, because after we paid, a server visited us across the street at Roxy's saying we still had a tab. Just a little confusion, but it all got worked out.

The fish in the fish & chips was too crumbly. The thickness of the batter was moderate, and the fries were more delicious than I thought.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter and dining is all in same floor. Looks like the washrooms might be up a little flight of stairs.

Don't recommend the deep-fried pepperoni. It was very dry and overdone.

Though hardly a "5 star" high class restaurant, it is a 5-star experience. Was there recently on a trip home from Asia. Was delighted that it was still open after all these years.
Gotta do the steak and fries!
Just like the experience as when I frequented the joint in the late eighties. Will be back!

As long as you stay away from the bar flies the bartenders are a good laugh ?

Cut my finger open before going out and it split back open. Lacy at boomers helped me out and fixed me up twice while I was bleeding out. Unreal help!! Scotty is a legend too! Thanks to the staff ?

First time I've been to this tavern and it was nice. Friendly service, nice location, atmosphere and the food was good. I had the burger and fries and I will be returning for sure to try something new.
