Best india restaurant in halifax. today I had dinner with my friends in this restaurant and this is my third time here . My favorite dish is paneer lababdaar 🤩✨️ and waiting time is not too much and the server was coming back to back for confirming if we want anything else . Best service Highly recommended 👍🏻

We were on a road trip from Ontario to Nova Scotia with a big group that included all age groups. By the time we reached Halifax, we were really missing chai and Indian food. That’s when we stopped by Mirchi Tandoor for chai and pakoras.
The food and service were so good that we came back the very next day for dinner. Since we were a large group, we ordered a variety of dishes, and I must say—every single one was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious.
Living in Brampton, we have high standards for Indian food, and Mirchi Tandoor definitely exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, fresh, and flavorful Indian cuisine in Halifax.

Ordered out and was so excited to find a whole section of the menu with dishes that could easily be selected to be adapted vegan. Super filling, awesome flavour, big portions, overall loved it!
Wow – Mirchi Tandoor completely blew us away! From the first bite to the last, it was a total flavour explosion. The masala dosa was perfectly crispy and packed with flavour, and the chicken karai was so rich and delicious it honestly felt like a celebration in every bite.
But what really sets this place apart is their tandoor. They are the only restaurant I’ve been to that actually does justice to it. The naan was soft, fluffy, and just the right amount of charred. And don’t even get me started on the tandoori chicken – juicy, smoky, and seasoned to perfection. It’s a must must must try. Honestly, if you're going there and not ordering something from the tandoor, you're missing out big time.
The place has great vibes, the service is friendly, and the food is served fresh and hot. You can really tell the chefs care about what they’re putting on the plate.
Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Do yourself a favour and go eat at Mirchi Tandoor – your taste buds will thank you!

On a rainy afternoon around 2 PM, my coworkers and I ordered from Mirchi Tandoor in Halifax—and it was an absolute delight! We got samosas, papdi chaat, butter chicken, naan, and biryani. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and deeply satisfying.
The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the naan soft and perfect, and the biryani full of aroma and spice. The papdi chaat and samosas were crispy, tangy, and delicious.
