I went in to exchange my frother after it stopped working properly, and I was shocked by how rude the manager was.
Very dismissive tone. I said that if the product is going to be finicky, I’d rather return it. She immediately barked that I couldn’t return it because I had already used it and that “it’s on the receipt.”

I understand there are store policies and I’ve worked in retail myself, so I don’t blame the rules—but the way I was spoken to was extremely rude and belittling.

There was no effort to explain things respectfully or provide customer service but hey I guess I'm just another transaction to her.

I’m happy that my frother is working again, but the experience left a very bad impression of this location.

This is the second time I’ve visited the Halifax Nespresso store, and both times have been extremely disappointing. The sales staff here are, without question, the least welcoming I’ve ever encountered. The two ladies working there have an incredibly poor attitude, making me feel more like I was working for them rather than being their customer.

The only bright spot is the African gentleman, who is polite, warm, and genuinely helpful—completely opposite in demeanor. Unfortunately, the overall experience with the rest of the staff overshadows this.

I will never return to this location. Honestly, this branch is doing more harm than good to Nespresso’s reputation. It would be better for the brand if it closes this branch altogether.

I always buy your coffee for years , I never had bad experience like this location, staff not welcoming , very rude , you can’t even underhands when they talk. I will never come to this location ever and I will make sure tell everyone how bad customer service was here … you need to educate your staff to have good business

I’m a serious coffee drinker, and the Nespresso store at Halifax Shopping Centre is a stand-out location. Anthony and his team always make me feel welcome and important, whether I’m picking up my usual order or looking to try something new.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly love what they do. Of course they always have what I need and the whole experience feels like a little treat every time I go.

It’s very hit or miss with the friendliness of staff here. Sometimes it’s a smooth and welcoming process ordering new sleeves or products, and other times there’s a pretentious vibe lingering in the store. There was a female employee in training who assisted me last week and she was notably rude. I only purchased one sleeve during this visit so perhaps this set the tone for her. Work on a better environment for customers, please!

Everything Nespresso is 5 star. I’ve had the good fortune to visit Nespresso through Europe, Ontario & Quebec, but none shine brighter than our very own here in Halifax. With over 30 years experience in hospitality, it’s a fact that in order sell a product, you must first believe in the quality of the product. A testament to that is a well educated & informed team, and to be led by a leader who strives for excellence. There are many faces to Nespresso, however, the one I most often see over the years wears the name tag Anthony. Well, done you!!

We recently purchased a coffee machine and were helped by a young staff member named Murilini. She was extremely polite, helpful, and genuinely attentive to both mine and my wife’s needs. What really stood out was her honesty—she clearly explained which machines were best for us and even mentioned which ones tend to have complaints, which we really appreciated. She also made us a delicious coffee, which made the whole experience even better. Great service and a great overall experience. Thank you, Murilini!
