Food was good. We had a larger party and the server did not write down our orders initially. We waited for 40 minutes to have our six bills sorted correctly and due to being a larger party we had an automatic 18 percent gratuity fee. Poor experience overall.

My experience at Orso Pub and Grill was truly exceptional. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, setting the stage for a fantastic dining experience. I indulged in their unique guacamole stuffed onion rings, which were a delicious twist on a classic appetizer. The chicken and steak quesadillas were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and served with fresh ingredients. To complement my meal, I enjoyed a refreshing strawberry basil mojito, which was the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. The attentive service and attention to detail truly made my visit memorable. I highly recommend Orso Pub and Grill to anyone looking for great food and a vibrant atmosphere.

First of all, 8$ rice are you kidding me?Beth and I had a beautiful day at the citadel up the street, we decided to check out the restaurant. Immediately my wife was almost attacked by the bear at the door. We were introduced to the bar by Gabby. She then began to make us probably the worst disgusting shots ive ever had in my life. I asked for a side of rice and it was 8$ are you kidding me? She said the tourists in the busy season don't even notice so the owner jacks up the prices. She then yelled at my wife Beth for accidently calling the Halifax harbor a river. Very unprofessional and expensive for the quality. If i wasn't so rich, i would put a bounty on the owner of this business. Gabby 1.2/10Go drink at the axe place down the road. At least when they axe your wallet you will have fun.8$ rice, cool. Brutal happy hour. Dry rice

Had nachos, guacamole stuffed onion rings, club house and bacon cheese burger. Guacamole stuffed onion rings could have used more flavor as they were bland. Nachos were a bit skimpy on the cheese. Burger and club house were delicious! Service was excellent. Highly recommend they invest in windows shades as the sun is blinding when it's setting and is right in your face.

Group of work crew got together for a meal and then a Moose game on February 29th and not only enjoyed the food, the layout of the restaurant, but the waiter (Brandon) was amazing and made the whole experience of our first visit the best experience and we'll definitely return.

Showed up for a reservation, weren't greeted for almost 10 mins. Then the group behind us was sat before us. Our server Bones was amazing! But the food was not that good and overpriced for what it was. Doubtful I'll go back.

Tried the place after a Halifax Mooseheads game at the Scotiabank Centre next door. I had made a reservation but it fortunately was quite empty and we found a seat right away.I ordered a Spicy Chicken Burger with Spicy garlic potato as the sides while my friend had the Chicken Quesadillas. The burger was not the greatest I’ve had. The ‘spicy’ flavour was only limited to the sauce right in the middle, so the entire burger wasn’t spicy at all. I would liked maybe more sauce or maybe if the chicken would’ve been dipped in some hot sauce. The chicken itself was a bit oily so that might’ve helped. The garlic potatoes were average. My friend’s Quesadillas were average too and she said she has had better ones in Halifax.Bit unfortunate as I wanted to try this place for a long while but maybe in future we have a better experience. The service was good and the atmosphere is okay. Food definitely needs a lot of work.

The overall was satifactory. I ordered the steak sandwich with fries. The quantity of bbq sauce was overwhelming. There was so much sauce that I could not taste the steak. In the future and as a recommendation, ease off on the sauce. Thank you

Orso is a fantastic restaurant not too big not too small , fantastic food always , wait staff are great! Great atmosphere! Music a lil too loud at times but doesn't take away from the quality of food ! Very good value for the $ ! Definitely a must try !

This place is AMAZING! The food preparation was amazing, the taste was phenomenal, and the service was excellent! I can't wait to come back to this place. My taste buds were too happy. Dangerous that it's so close to where I live.

Excellent experience. I find everything (everywhere) is overpriced, hence the 4 stars on value. Our waitress was great. She was originally from Ukraine. Spicy Chicken sandwich is the best one on the planet!

Overall the food was amazing. Although we had reservations we waited 30 minutes to get served. I’m not sure if this was a staffing issue. But we advised the Waite staff we were ready multiple times. We then waited another twenty minutes for our bill after asking for it twice. But again the food was incredible.

We shared calamari and Orso burger with fries. The calamari had a wonderful dipping sauce/aioli and the burger was very good, great bun and perfectly cooked crispy fries. Recommend especially if you are catching an event at Scotiabank Centre.
