Loved it! The service was great, food was delicious with perfect portions, and the wine was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!
A bit at a lost. Drinks were good. But ordered a charcuterie board and there’s no cheese. Ordered before. Very odd.

Peacock hosted our large party of 12 beautifully with great timing and attention. Would absolutely bring a group here again! Food was delicious, I loved the cod. For the cheese plates, several people recommended a second dip be added (ex. mustard) but still loved it.
Thank you!!!!

We went for a birthday dinner which I had put in the reservation. For a high end place I thought this would be mentioned but it wasn’t. The place is very nice looking, servers were pleasant. I was brought the wrong wine. But it was corrected. Cheese plate for $22 has 3 slivers and a smear of jam, and 4 paper thin apple slices/ pretty sub par. We had the mushroom pasta. It was all noodles and crushed nuts with pine nuts, not a ml of sauce to be seen. Very bland and extremely disappointing for the high price point. Please do better if you are going to charge these prices.

Perfect place to have dinner and a fantastic glass of wine right on the Halifax Harbour. The staff are great and food is excellent
Atmosphere was fine, service above average, food nothing special. Onion ring and calamari starter was large but bland. The addition of speck was odd and didn't add flavour to the dish. The halibut checks were deep fried and served with something resembling a boring tartar sauce. The puttanesca pasta was overly salty and the tagliatelle underwhelming in flavour. Desserts were okay.
A great meal shared with friends. Nice wine selection. Lovely venue at the waterfront. Patio option if weather permits and set back a bit.
We had high hopes for Peacock based on its upscale reputation and ratings, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. The service was noticeably slow, and the overall vibe didn't live up to the fancy image the restaurant seems to project. While the menu pricing suggested a fine dining experience, the food itself was quite average and didn't justify the cost. The ambiance also lacked the sophistication one would expect from a top-tier restaurant. In short, Peacock gives off an elegant energy, but the food, service, and atmosphere didn't align with the expectations set.
This was our third visit to Peacock and all three experiences were excellent. One of our new favourite restaurants in Halifax.
Excellent food, service, wine, and ambience. Staff paid close attention to my food allergy to ensure I had a safe and enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend!
The wine tasting we did with Sam was fantastic. He is so knowledgeable and explained things really well; I learned so much about Italian wines! It was really fun and laid back and a very welcoming atmosphere to a newbie like myself. We stayed for dinner as well and our server was amazing. I think her name was Alex, and I apologize if I'm wrong, but she was so friendly and lovely and made the experience even better.
Wonderful as always! I love this place and the service they provide. Best wines are there and they provide really good advice for what to get based on your taste
We were supposed to be eight but needed to with 6 people. The staff were very attentive and explained the menu very nicely. They were quick and happy to serve us...that actually means a lot in today's busy world. Wine list at lower end wasn't too plentiful but they did have a great wine list in the higher end wines. Atmosphere was great and alive. The whole waterfront is actually. Food was delicious and cooked expertly. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
A truly elegant space — decadent but still playful. The food was delicious and it was great to see so many local Nova Scotian wines alongside a vast global menu. The cocktails and mocktails were also top-tier. The staff was warm and attentive, great place to continue your wine education journey.
