1st time we have been to the Peacock Wine Bar,but it won't be the last. Great wine , food and service. We had the fondue. Been a long time since we had one. Delicious and fun. Great variety of food to dunk. Maddie our server's recommendations for wine were spot on.

Really nice meal. Wine bar was quiet, but our reservation was for 5pm, so it may well have picked up after we left. Great service and food and wine were really good. Would definitely recommend.

This is my 3rd time at Peacock Wine Bar. What a vibe! The first couple of times, I had an official wine tasting with Peacock's Akexa, the Manager, who truly knows her wine! The grazing board is always creative, beautiful and delicious. I rediscovered the Coup Glass with my delicious bottle of bubbles! I was so impressed that a few days ago, I brought in 2 friends and 2 clients! Thank you for a remarkable experience. We will be back in April and look forward to enjoying the beautiful ambiance and great vibe!

Lovely space , great ambience and music was terrific. It was NYE at a price fixe so ymmv. The food was above average but not mind-blowing by any measure. Cocktail was just ok and the wine pairing selections were excellent (to be expected). But the fish (haddock) was overcooked. Overcooked fish. There is one thing you should not be doing at fine dining on the Halifax waterfront and that is serving overcooked fish.

Went here last night for a date and we both left feeling very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. My partner and I ordered the fondue with the steak, lobster and sausage plate and they did not disappoint - amazing value for only $30 considering the portion sizes and the tenderness of the steak. We both said how it was the one of the best steaks we have ever had! Our server was also quick and attentive. I always appreciate when they are efficient and she was great at meeting our needs. My only complaint - which wouldn’t reduce my 5-star rating is that it was quite loud for someone who is hard of hearing, that being said, it was busy at the time and it’s a relatively small space which staff don’t have any control over. Overall I would certainly recommend to a friend and visit again :)

Peacock is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely ambience and it's a great place to enjoy happy hour. NS bubbles are $5 off per glass before 6:00 and there is a nice range of bar snacks. The other great thing about happy hour is that the restaurant is lively, but not so noisy that you can't hear the other people at your table speak.

A lovely place for a meal. The food was really good (not outstanding) but very good for sure. I would have liked to see more vegetarian options. I would definitely eat here again.

We started with the cured pork with chips - absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The chips appear to be made in-house, they were thin and nicely seasoned. We also had the warm olives, braised beef agnolotti, and tagliatelle with wild mushrooms - all very good. The orange wine we paired the meal with was excellent. Beautiful decor and ambience!
