Peacock is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely ambience and it's a great place to enjoy happy hour. NS bubbles are $5 off per glass before 6:00 and there is a nice range of bar snacks. The other great thing about happy hour is that the restaurant is lively, but not so noisy that you can't hear the other people at your table speak.
A lovely place for a meal. The food was really good (not outstanding) but very good for sure. I would have liked to see more vegetarian options. I would definitely eat here again.
We started with the cured pork with chips - absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The chips appear to be made in-house, they were thin and nicely seasoned. We also had the warm olives, braised beef agnolotti, and tagliatelle with wild mushrooms - all very good. The orange wine we paired the meal with was excellent. Beautiful decor and ambience!
The mahi mahi was amazing and the ribeye excellent. Great selection of wines, will come back for sure
I've come to Peacock multiple times. It is always consistently delicious. Amazing service. The staff are really sweet and very knowledgable on every aspect. It is truly one of my favourite places to come in the city, even just to sit at the bar and have a nice little appetizer and a glass of wine.
Exceeded our expectations! Service was top-notch, meal was delicious, decor is unique, and it's a nice option to be able to choose different portion sizes for the main courses.
The food and cocktails were flavourful and delicious. Great value for money at this resto!
Loved it! The service was great, food was delicious with perfect portions, and the wine was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!
A bit at a lost. Drinks were good. But ordered a charcuterie board and there’s no cheese. Ordered before. Very odd.

Peacock hosted our large party of 12 beautifully with great timing and attention. Would absolutely bring a group here again! Food was delicious, I loved the cod. For the cheese plates, several people recommended a second dip be added (ex. mustard) but still loved it.
Thank you!!!!

We went for a birthday dinner which I had put in the reservation. For a high end place I thought this would be mentioned but it wasn’t. The place is very nice looking, servers were pleasant. I was brought the wrong wine. But it was corrected. Cheese plate for $22 has 3 slivers and a smear of jam, and 4 paper thin apple slices/ pretty sub par. We had the mushroom pasta. It was all noodles and crushed nuts with pine nuts, not a ml of sauce to be seen. Very bland and extremely disappointing for the high price point. Please do better if you are going to charge these prices.

Perfect place to have dinner and a fantastic glass of wine right on the Halifax Harbour. The staff are great and food is excellent
Atmosphere was fine, service above average, food nothing special. Onion ring and calamari starter was large but bland. The addition of speck was odd and didn't add flavour to the dish. The halibut checks were deep fried and served with something resembling a boring tartar sauce. The puttanesca pasta was overly salty and the tagliatelle underwhelming in flavour. Desserts were okay.
A great meal shared with friends. Nice wine selection. Lovely venue at the waterfront. Patio option if weather permits and set back a bit.
