Peppercorns Eatery Bedford

Food was really good and tasted fresh. Atmosphere was great, maybe we visited not so busy hours. We were greeted by owner and after meal, she politely asked ways to improve the shortcomings, if any. We tried pizza and pasta. Pizza was one of the best I ever had. Pasta met our expectations. We will definitely suggest to try once for some new flavours

6 of us went for dinner at the Bedford location on a Monday night. There were no other customers. We had browsed their menu online prior to going and were very disappointed that when we got there part of their menu was covered up with stickers and not available. Particularly the “mains” which most of us would have ordered from. After waiting for over 30 minutes we had to wave over the server to place our orders. Two ladies came over. They didn’t know what kind of pop they had and were guessing rather than going to check. Two of us got the clubhouse and fries, 2 got the meat lovers pizza, one got a burger and salad and one got the chicken alfredo pasta. They seemed to have forgotten one of the meals as 5 came out at the same time and the last was at least 7 minutes longer. The meat in the clubhouse sandwiches was tough. The crust on both pizzas was so thin it had to be eaten with a fork. The burger was ok but very salty. The salad was delicious with a nice light lemon vinaigrette dressing and was pretty much the only good thing of this entire experience. The pasta was ok but quite bland and lacking flavour. No one came over during the meal to see if we needed anything (water, etc). It’s not like they were busy as we were the only customers. Another family came in as we were finishing up (7 people) and quickly left. I don’t blame them. This place needs some significant training in customer service. We definitely won’t be back.

Pleasant and quiet place for a great lunch. The burger was tasteful and juicy. Nicely done fries on the side. Service was bang on. Will return one day.

Amazing experience at Peppercorns Eatery in Bedford! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The pizza and garlic parmesan fries were especially delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It’s a great spot for a casual meal with family or friends. Definitely one of my favorite places in Bedford—highly recommend trying it! 🍕✨

I can see why reviews here are so mixed. This place has a lot of potential as a casual spot. It looks like a typical takeout place with seating, but the food quality is higher than you’d expect, which is actually a cool concept if you want good food without the fuss of a full sit-down restaurant.

The pizza was fantastic and nicely charred (which I loved). The burger had great potential, but the bun tasted stale or freezer-burnt. I’ve seen other reviews mention this too, so there may be some quality control issues. The parm garlic fries were amazing.

Service is what really hurt the experience. It was just the two of us and the place was nearly empty, yet our server seemed confused about the drink options and ended up forgetting our drinks entirely until we got up and asked. Not a huge deal, but waiting for food without drinks isn’t ideal.

Cleanliness was also questionable—the dining room floors were in desperate need of a sweep, with copious amounts of food and used ketchup packets underneath the tables.

Overall, a pretty mixed experience, but with a few small improvements this place could be really great.

Saw the reviews online and decided to place an order for takeaway. Paid $27. Tiniest portion of pasta that has a weird taste and old/stale soggy piece of toast that looks like someone took a bite out of it ? Why is a part of my toast missing with shape of teeth. Very bad experience

We were given a glass water bottle with a stopper when we sat down. The inside of the stopper was full of mold. We ended up leaving and not eating.

We read reviews and decided to try this restaurant while in the area… and we were very happy that we did. The food was incredible and cooked beautifully even though only two cooks were making everything, it was a full house and they were also making takeout orders. We ordered a variety of items and were pleased with each. The service was exceptional and staff were gracious.

Went with a small group for Xmas lunch. While waiting asked for a tea, told they don’t serve tea or coffee? Table ordered burgers, triple decker sandwich n “salami sandwich “. Burger was dry, bread for sandwiches looked like stale toasted n tasted the same. Salami sandwich was joke, 2 bread patties n some thinly sliced meat. Don’t waste your money at this place.

Great little hidden spot in Bedford. Food was great, very yummy, quick and hit the spot. Price is very reasonable. Service was just ok, not really the friendliest experience. Atmosphere is a bit out of place and doesn’t match the quality of food, the restaurant was quite cold when we went in December! Overall a nice little spot with great food, just needs to work on decorations and service training.
