Nice cosy place for catching up with family and friends. Has a decent menu for food and drinks, no complaints. The trouble is finding parking around this place.

This comfortable pub with a British flare on Quinpool Rd is a gem. Savoured every bite of their Beef Shortribs and garlic mashed. Finished with exceptional creme brulee topped with fresh berries. Server was a pro in every way.

Our first day and first meal in Halifax and it was amazing! My apologies for not catching the servers name; but what a great experience! We eat early so it wasn’t too busy (plus is Wednesday) the service was great, super friendly guy, good chill and enjoyable music, tasty beers, the food was top notch!! We’re from the west coast….. Vancouver has great food though for a pub and in the city we have nothing this good at this price with such great service. We’re only here a short stop but will definitely pop in for a second meal or a pint before moving on. Ps. We are a family of 3 (my husband and I and our “tweenager” and even she was happy!!) Thank you 😊

Great English style pub that makes you feel like you’re actually across the pond. Very clean, welcoming and the food is phenomenal. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and it is very modern / traditional. The burger is probably one of the best in the city so I’m not going to mention why, you should just try it and you’ll know why. Let’s not forget, the employees behind the bar pour a great and proper pint of Guinness.

Absolutely nothing special about the Quinn Arms Pub. I visted the pub this evening and it was underwhelming. The atmosphere was nonexistent it was very loud inside it was challenging to hear what other were saying across the table. The menu looks ok but the food wasn't that great. The pub looked old and tired on the inside. The service was okay but nothing that stood out. I would not recommend the Quinn Arms Pub for anyone. We won't be going back there's nothing worth going back for.

Note this is different from the Brewery by Quinns a few doors up. Had a Christmas lunch today with two other people. Nice cozy place, sat in the snug at the back, was busy maybe two thirds full. Casey was an awesome server, always a smile, very efficient! Even thought she had a table of 12! We ordered the Pear Salad, Shepherd's Pie, Fish Cakes and Pretzel Bites. Everything came swiftly. The fish cakes are the best I can remember, and I like fish cakes. Pear salad was good and fresh. Shepherd's pie with gravy also good, (although it had that gamey lamb taste which some people do not like). The Bites a little odd. They came with "beer cheese" a type of nacho cheese with almost no taste, but there was a pinch of coriander in it? Perhaps a mustard based sauce would work better. And of course we enjoyed the local made draught beer, Rice Lager a special mention. Will come back.

Service could have been better. Friendly staff but our group had to wait 20+ minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. Server brought one person the wrong order, but it was rectified + a free app.
4.5. This cozy local hangout is terrific. Little booths, just the right ambaint lighting, not too loud, and great service. Good / reasonably priced food selection. Friendly, attentive staff. Really like it!
