We found ourselves on Quinpool one quiet Sunday afternoon and decide to try this place out. We couldn't be happier that we did! The atmosphere in the pub is cozy, dim without being too dark and easy to have a conversation. My partner went for the Sunday roast and I had the chicken and leek pie. My grandparents are British and they'd be proud to know that a pub around here is making such incredible food from home! The yorkshire puddings tasted exactly like my Nana used to make and were so comforting! Both dishes were incredible. The roast was very tender with very little fat (just enough to keep it flavorful!) The leek and chicken pie was gorgeous. So delicious and seasoned perfectly. The waitress was so friendly and easy to talk to and the prices were really fair! We're so excited to visit again in the future!

This is by far my favourite spot in the city! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the staff is kind and funny, and the food… to die for! Anything with the mashed potatoes fills my heart with joy! (Especially the Shepards Pie) Walking in the door feels like coming home. Big shoutout to Terry for always sharing a smile and a pint! We come here for lunch, dinner, date night, nightcaps, you name it! Quinn’s is my favourite place to bring visitors from out of town. Truly the best ❤️

Went for dinner on Friday night at 6.30pm and ended up waiting over 1.5 hours for a table.
Lots of tables with people waiting to pay but place is very busy and understaffed.
Food is really good (probably the best burger in the city!) and cozy vibes. Would go back but not during dinner rush.

The server was spectacular, easily the best server I had during my two weeks in Halifax. He was doing everything; dining room, bar, wrapping cutlery. And he was just a kind person!
