We have been here plenty of times for breakfast and supper and the food is great. But today they were busy and we waited for over 20 mins without even being given water or any indication we would be served. Extremely disappointed. We ended up leaving without breakfast.

We just had breakfast I order pancake on the menu it said stack of pancakes with whipped cream , when the waitress brought it to me no whipped cream, my husband order 2 eggs with white bread toasy, the waitresses brought him the breakfast with burnt toast , when I should it to the waitresses I think she found it normal that they were burnt, so we ask can you please replace the burnt toast she said oh , when she replaced them they not cooked , no smile not coming to our table to ask if we wanted more coffee, I don’t think she likes her job
Have a nice day

Reliable general menu covering breakfast, small and large meals and desserts. Standards like salads, fish, nachos done well. Ran out of mashed potatoes at 6 pm on Sunday( open for more hours!) Great waitress very pleasant ,prompt problem solver and quick to respond to all requesrs . Great seafood vhowder, crrpes, fried chicken. One of my reliable choices when too lazy to cook supper.

First time there.
I want to tell you that I'm in my late 50s
.I had the maple burger. Best burger and garlic mashed potatoes I've had in my life. If there were more stars I would absolutely give it 10 out of 10.
And my waitress Rachel was spot on. Definitely going back!

We enjoyed our dinner at Redwood Grill. We went on a friday which is 50% off cocktails, they were pretty tasty. I ordered the Dave Matthew’s and my partner ordered the Paloma. They were both nice, but I wish my glass wasn’t so small. We ordered the beet and goat cheese salad to share, and it was fresh and delicious. I ordered the blackened salmon, and I really enjoyed it. The salmon was definitely the star of the plate, it was cooked beautifully. I liked the brown butter sauce and the cajun pickle on top but I would have liked a little bit more. The rice and veggies were good but as I would expect they were plain so I would have liked a little bit more sauce or flavour to add an extra oomph to the dish. I appreciated the lemon to squeeze. But yes, I did really enjoy it. My partner ordered the Haddock BLT and mash. It was great, I tried some and I thought it was really tasty. The service was good, we didn’t wait too long and the staff were nice. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, it started to pick up as we were leaving I think. It was clean and fairly quiet. I would definitely like to go back, I want to try some other things on the menu and enjoy more 50% off cocktails. I seen they had decent specials on other nights of the week as well. This restaurant isn’t far from where I live so I will likely be back. Overall we enjoyed our dinner at Redwood Grill.

Staff was great. Head a plate of the lobster salad, NY steak dinner, seafood chowder. The chowder was great, the person with steak enjoyed theirs and of course the lobster is always enjoyed. It came with potato salad which was just not for us. Everything else was good. I ordered too much as the chowder was an appetizer, and it was a big bowl! So they discounted my food sunset I barely touched it. Only charged me for the seafood pieces I ate. I didn't even ask so I'm very appreciative of the staff to offer that. Thank you so much.

This is our third time ordering takeout from this establishment. Once again, we were totally disappointed. The seafood fettuccine had two shrimp, three scallops and a small half claw of lobster. The same meal at the Bicycle Thief or Il Mercato is additional 3 dollars and loaded with seafood. For the fish and chip order…..the haddock was dry and there were less than a dozen French fries with Minimal condiments. Upon bringing our concerns to the attention of the establishment, we were advised there wasn’t anyone with authority or management experience to address our issues.

Not worth the financial cost of the sub par food and poor customer service.

Word of advice……walk across the street to Swiss Chalet or drive to Bayers lake where there is a plethora of wonderful eating establishments.

Best fish chowder in the province, at least top 5. Worst eggs benny in the world (garbage). Our server was indifferent, unengaging and clearly bored of us. The only reason I go is because my mom likes the food and the washrooms are on the same level which makes it easier for my dad who has mobility issues.

Ultimately a one star because they don't have accessible power assisted doors to the restaurant. It's 2025 get with the modern era!
