Ristorante a Mano

The food at this restaurant was absolutley delicious. The server we had was gregarious, friendly, polite and knew excatly when to come by and when to leave us alone. The only set back was the crowed nature of the restaurant. The popularity of the place ment that you had to skilled at reading lips in order to communicate with your table mates.

Delicious pasta— 4 of us all had different things and they were all great. Huge, fresh arugula- rich green salad. Terrific wine list. A hit!

Food was descent and the staff was friendly. The gnocchi was a little over cooked making it very soft and the pizza crust a little to hard. Otherwise, all good.

This is a restaurant that truly understands hospitality. From the second we walked in, we were treated like VIPs. The decor was beautiful — modern yet cozy — and everything was spotless. Our waiter walked us through the menu with real enthusiasm and gave us thoughtful suggestions based on our preferences. I tried a seasonal special that featured local ingredients, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. My dining partner had a classic dish done incredibly well. Drinks were also a highlight — creative, balanced, and beautifully served. We lingered over dessert and coffee because we simply didn’t want to leave. This place is the definition of five-star dining.

They have the best spaghetti I've ever eatened.

We got takeout as the place folks up fast and we did not make a reservation. Loved our food, did not taste like a to-go meal. Kids enjoyed the cheese pizza from the kids menu. Very friendly service when ordering and picking up.

Make a reservation several days in advance in high season 🙂

Staff were very knowledgeable and service was excellent. They knew we were celebrating, and made a point to acknowledge it. They also acknowledged any dietary restrictions and offered recommendations based on that. Highly reccomend, if I could give 6 stars, I would.

The food and cocktails were 10/10 but the service and atmosphere was really lacking. The servers have no personality or soul. It’s almost like they hate their jobs.

Came here for a lunch on the recommendation of a friend and the food was excellent. Our server, Heather was 10/10. Friendly and attentive without being over the top. She was awesome.

Everyone said when you go to Halifax to go to the Bicycle Thief. We went there once and A Mano twice. A Mano is a way better restaurant and by far the best restaurant we ate at in our week in Halifax
