i never leave bad reviews, but i don’t think it’s worth it whatsoever to come on a sunday night. my friend and i were there as we wanted a chill evening with a few drinks. the waitresses and bartenders were rude, unknowledgeable, and just poor. there were 6 people (including us) there, but we still waited an hour for one singular meal. when we went up to ask, they made faces at us and went to go get our now cold meal. i work in customer service, and these interactions were not awesome. please don’t work slow nights if you don’t want to deal with a half a dozen people. :(

Bouncers here act like they’re guarding the gates of heaven when really it’s just a mediocre club that lets in every underage kid with a fake ID. They look miserable and take it out on everyone else, must be tough hating your job and your life that much. If you want attitude and insecurity at the door, this is the place for you.

Such a fun Halifax spot — great energy, super friendly staff, and unbeatable prices. Loved the local beer lineup (Keith’s, Oland, Toller — iconic), plus the nachos and poutine hit perfectly. Perfect place for casual drinks, dancing, and a laid-back East Coast vibe. Will definitely be back! 🍻🇨🇦

My date and I went to purchase our first drinks of the night and were purposefully ignored by the Roxbury Live bartender. Waited patiently at the front of the bar while he proceeded to serve other customers on either side of us while ignoring us. He eventually offered to serve my date but then ignored her when he saw we were together. I noticed a pattern of this bartender favouring female customers while making male patrons wait longer, or in some cases receive the same treatment I did. Disgusted with our experience, we proceeded to the dome where we were promptly served.
