Overrated af. Went because I saw 4.5 stars on google. Taste was below average, noone was there when I entered. The people at counter found it inconvenient to take the order. Wouldn't visit again,not worth the money. Location is downtown so they might get a lot of business but I won't go again, spent too much money on some bland food.

BIPOC FOLKS BEWARE! The middle-aged lady that works there manipulated and gaslighted me by giving wrong instructions to the owner/manager in the kitchen who prepared my pizza. The pizza was deliberately made wrong. Costing less but charged higher. Plus added with the wrong topping that I specifically told not to add. This caused a verbal fight between me and the owner/manager. Had to call the police. Felt racially discriminated as well. Never had an issue ordering delivery online. This was the first time I ordered face to face. ??????????

Was on a trip with my wife and we came here looking to find authentic Halifax donair. We were not disappointed! The food was tasty and the portions were great for the price (don't underestimate how much meat they can fit in the large!). The fact we went back a second time before leaving should be an indication how much we enjoyed the food.

Slice and pop for $5.75. Solid competitor in the Halifax pizza scene. The slice tasted very good and the vegetables still had a crunch to them which was nice. The crust was also cooked perfectly. However, I prefer a thicker and doughy crust but this is a personal preference. Also, I thought the sauce could use more seasoning (basil/oregano, chili flake, etc.) as the slice was a little bland. A change in music would also make the atmosphere more enjoyable for customers. Overall, good slice although a couple of adjustments would make it really good!

Every time I travel to Halifax I end up at Rugova’s for some late night food after the bars. This place is actually owned and operated by one of the nicest people I have ever met. John and his staff make the best pizza and poutines. For five dollars a slice you can’t beat the price and the piece of pizza you get is massive and you can also drink a liquor beverage and listen to some good tunes and have some good laughs. Thanks Rugova’s for always making Halifax a great experience for us!!

The large donair was HUGE I probably could have shared it. The garlic fries were amazing and everything came with SO MUCH sauce (make sure to ask for it on the side).
I know that donairs are supposed to be drunk food but as a visitor to Halifax (read: donair first timer), I couldn't help but order one mid-day. While I went in with low expectations, I left pleasantly surprised at how tasty the sandwich was - the meat, which resembles gyro, was spiced well and the tomatoes and onions were the perfect accocmpaniment. The ability to sub donair sauce with (sugarless) garlic sauce was a plus too.

Just grabbed a slice for lunch and it was so hard and dry. I tossed half, tried to feed some to the birds and they couldnt break through the hard crust. It was busy at noon, not sure why my slice was like that, must have been given the oldest slice. This is my 3rd time trying this place, the first time was later at night, the pizza was terribly dry and hard, 2days ago at lunch I had one of the best slices I've had and today it was hard and dry again.

Was looking for something from Skip to bring to our hotel.this place had good TA reviews and looked ok. Had a pkg deal of a pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks and a bottle of pop. Nothing stood out in a good or bad way. I’d use again if hungry.

Quality: We were 5, we had a club and fries, a lunch special (pizza/pop), a fresh pizza, and a chicken wrap.The food was hot, fresh and great taste. The portion sizes were perfect. (Lunch special was massive), club sandwich was a monster as well.Service: It is great to report the lady at the cash was very patient with us and offered us solutions as we were flipping on choices. Plenty of eye contact and active listening to help us figure out our order.Standing in front, there was 5 pizza places within eyesight, I'm glad we chose to dine there. We will be back next time we go to Halifax.Love the small businesses, they typically have Service and quality lost on the chain restaurants.
