Everything was amazing other than sitting, during bingo it was hard to see and hear numbers being called

Overall the experience was well worth the time. Fantastic food and great service have tremendous value. The decor and vibe are a great cross of chill & chic. We will definitely come back again!

Salt and Ash has an amazing vibe and equally fantastic food! I had the cheeseburger and fries, and both were absolutely delicious. The setting has a relaxed, beachy feel that works perfectly whether you're dressed casually or a little more dressed up.

Food was excellent. Service was good but a little slow and not quite as friendly as we are used to. The restaurants vibe was great, very energetic atmosphere!

Salt and Ash came as a recommendation and a good one it was. We were able to get a last minute reservation for lunch and started with the signature cocktail menu. If you like a good cocktail, then I would highly recommend you try one of these; well presented and very delicious. We opted to skip starters and went straight to the special - an interpretation of a donair pizza and the jerk cod and clams. Very very nice. We had another round of cocktails while the kids devoured a spicy chicken burger and chicken strips. I wasn't expecting the chicken burger to be as nicely prepared as it was. With a final round we managed to work through the signature cocktail menu. The atmosphere is bright and lively. We overlooked the harbour enjoying the view. The service was top notch. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Shawn delivered a great experience.

Limited menu and noisy patio. Food and service OK. There are better choices on the waterfront.

It is a casual restaurant with high end prices. Very noisy. Fish and chips were very good...crispy fish. ,1 Pier of fish and fries $28. Lobster roll was small served with french fries...over priced at $34. Hostess refused to have us wait for a nicer table closest to the windows, despite our willingness to do so. Mediocre experience...pick a better spot!

We went to salt and ash for bingo night and had a blast. The energy was so fun and the music was great, it was mamma Mia. The food was delicious, however our server told us there was no vegan option, so fyi for other guests. The drinks were also yummy. Our server was pretty terrible, very unaccommodating to dietary restrictions and very unhelpful with questions but overall had a great experience and everyone else was fantastic.

We typically really like Salt and Ash however last night the food was disappointing- we hoped to order pizza but were told that pizzas would not be available anymore that evening (it was 7:30) and we then wanted to order the seafood boil and were again told that wasn't available either. We then ordered roasted vegetables which are a favourite of mine and unfortunately they weren't roasted, many were burnt. Ironically as we left an hour later we noticed people, who arrived well after we did, being served pizza along with other tables. This further contributed to our experience being a disappointment.

Good experience overall. Very busy restaurant. Maybe we waited slightly longer than expected and had to speak very loudly to hear one another. Really that's a testament to how popular the place is. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff.

$34 lobster roll. Not fresh lobster, too much effort made to make it haute cuisine? All that is needed is FRESH lobster meat and mayonnaise. Done.

We had a confirmed reservation for a large group, with an email from OpenTable clearly showing the total number of guests. We arrived early, only to find that half of our large table had been given away to another group. The staff refused to accommodate us or honor our full reservation. They were unapologetic, and we were forced to eat with strangers, while the rest of our group sat at a separate table. It was disorganized, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointing. We've never experienced anything like this before—a confirmed reservation should be respected, and the way this was handled was unacceptable.
