I've been about 3-4 times now, and the food is always delicious! The ambiance is amazing as well. The place is very well decorated. It is downtown so I would leave yourself extra time to find parking if you are driving. Highly recommend!

I don’t know why there’s so many reviews negatively reviewing this place. It was great. Service was amazing- food was delicious cocktails were fabulous. Everything came quick. Fish was beautifully battered. The burger was freshly made - fries were fantastic.

TLDR: There are MANY much better restaurants in Halifax. Food was average and very poor service.

We ordered drinks, apps and entrees from a gentleman working who seemed like he didnt want to be working there or interacting with people. During our stay after our apps were delivered our 2nd waitress came to the table beside us and said she would be passing off her tables and didn't let us know. We chatted with the group beside us as they thought it was strange she didn't tell any one else. They said they had already been waiting over an hour for their food.
45 mins went by sitting with our empty app plates before a 3rd waitress came and asked us how we were enjoying our meal. We let her know we were on a time crunch and we wondering where our food was. She said she would check in on the orders. 5 mins later a 4th waitress came and delivered our food? We let her know we would just take the bills. The manager then came by as the 5th person to wait on us and comped our drinks. We've been to many restaurants where multiple members of the wait staff support tables and food service but this was simply disorganized and the place was not EVEN CLOSE to being full and on a Saturday afternoon.
Appreciate the comped drinks but we've already told others to avoid this place until better service and menu.

Waitress was on point tonight. Probably the most attentive restaurant in Halifax. Appetizer and drinks were very successful. Mixed reviews with such a small menu.

Portions very small and not worth the price!! We shared a $39 lobster roll which was the size of a small hotdog with minimal lobster. Four bites you’re done! Biggest disappointment was the seafood boil for two priced at a whopping $85 which was enough for one!! Lots of mussels but minimal seafood. Two scallops, 5 prawns, small piece of fish and mussels. Service and atmosphere were great. Prices incredibly inflated!!!

The restaurant was selected for its contemporary aesthetic and waterfront location. However, the culinary experience proved underwhelming.
Service was adequate, although the food was served prior to the beverage.
The burger and fish taco were ordered, both lacking in flavor. The tacos were of average quality, and the accompanying salad was excessively oily.
The burger was also bland, and the fries resembled those from a fast-food chain. While we enjoy exploring new dining establishments and cuisines, this experience did not meet expectations. The wine, however, was enjoyable. The overall rating is 4/10.

Truly the best fish and chips! Very large restaurant and I expect they get very busy for dinners. Our group of 6 stopped in for a late lunch so we had no trouble getting in. Really beautiful view of the Halifax harbour from here and a great choice to stop in for a drink and a bite if you are walking along the Halifax harbour front.

Very disappointed with the discriminatory service upon arrival. Very unprofessional been told our group cannot be seated because the restaurant is at capacity when there were clearly multiple empty tables and people also leaving when we arrived. I’m not sure if it was because of our race but I felt so disappointed and disgusted when I stepped out. The worst part is that we saw people being seated after we were told there was no seating.

The food was so fresh and nicely prepared and delicious. The service was great as well.. We definitely recommend stopping in and we look forward to our next meal there.

The only reason for the 4 stars was the limited lunch menu! Aside from that, the restaurant was great and the staff were lovely. The restaurant is tucked in along the water and the smell of a wood-oven fire was lovely! Our server was also super pleasant.
