Food was so bad I don't think it is not work it spend money here to order food but beer was perfect and one of waitress so rude not friendly at all. Only thing place really niceview and music.

We came here for our last night in Nova Scotia and had a great experience! Our server, Mia (I am terrible with names so I may have gotten this wrong, but she is a student at Dal in healthcare, blonde, from Halifax) was awesome and we had such a nice time talking to her!
The location and ocean view were also amazing (we sat on the upper patio), oysters were fresh and the beer was refreshing! Overall great place and next time we visit this side of Canada we will be back :)

The staff was wonderful. Our dog was allowed on the patio and they even provided a water bowl, which was a thoughtful touch. Food and drinks were excellent, and we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. The only drawback was that the nearby bar sometimes had loud music, which made conversations a bit difficult at times.

We were there September 2025. Overall rating would be 1 star except for the setting. Right on boardwalk which was beautiful. DO NOT order the nachos. Weird white sauce poured over top. Chicken looked like it was left over from the day before. We told server and his response was, “That’s too bad.”

Awesome spot! I got the chicken tacos and my daughter got the cheese pizza and house lemonade. We both loved our meals! Service was excellent!
Our server Hanna is one of the best servers weve ever had. My 82 year old mom is mostly deaf and Hanna spoke loud enough for her. She was bubby and exciting! She also took my daughter's seafood and nut allergy very serious. Was confident and ensures she check everything.

Went to get some food for an outing for a birthday party. The service was ok, service seemed awkward but in a good quirky way, she did ok. Food and drinks came fairly quickly after ordering, I ordered the fish and chips because I had seen pictures online and thought it looked amazing, however that was not the case, the batter was way to crispy and the fish was tough which I would say was due to over cooking, one of the party got the chicken sandwich and said the flavour was really good but was also overcooked, another member ordered truffle fries and stayed they were good but if they didn't know they ordered truffle fries they wouldn't have known as there wasn't much truffle to them. Overall not sure if we would return.

We visited Saltyard today and while the food and the server who helped us at our table were great, our experience was unfortunately spoiled by another staff member. A bald male server was extremely rude to us. We were simply taking some pictures (not blocking anyone’s way) and he came over and loudly told us “it’s time to move” in a very unprofessional manner. His tone was unnecessary and made us feel very uncomfortable and disrespected.
It’s disappointing to have what should have been a nice dining experience overshadowed by such behavior. No guest should be treated this way.
