I love hanging out at Seven Bays! If you're an active and social person like me, the environment is awesome. I frequently come here to work remotely, and then smatter my day with chatting, climbing, or working out in the gym downstairs.
The coffee is made with love, the space is full of smiling faces, and the gym is bumpin.
I'm celiac so I don't really trust the kitchen here (it's so small!) but I know other celiacs who feel safe here - the kitchen staff are always happy to talk if you require accommodations, but as always, eat at your own risk!
Prior to finding out I was celiac I was a huge fan of the burrito bowl, and I know that local ingredients are always offered.
Ann the cafe manager is a pro, she has a really tough job some days due to the nature of the foot traffic on gotti, but I have always found her to be fair and compassionate.
Altogether, you'll find this place to be a hub for community, a staple of the north end, and a great spot to meet new friends.

The lady who named herself as Ann who works here. Forced me and told me that I had to buy something first before my severely special needs child was allowed to use the bathroom. I told her and showed her I had $1700 on me and after she uses the bathroom I promise to buy stuff. I have a severe brain jury with an old blood clot an past hemmoraging in my brain and along with other injuries like my facial nerve misfuctioning. I can barely stand up on my walker. I feel like I need to get around in a wheelchair. She insisted to be considered a customer and because the washroom was in use I had to buy first and than my daughter could use the wash room. I raise my voice at her and told her I demand anappilogy for how she was treating two very disabled people and one was a child. I can barely walk and my brain injury has also created breathing and speaking problems. But yet she forced the idea that the purchase had to made first before using the bathroom . I highly recommend anybody who is severely disabled to not go into this establishment as they have no concerns for your limitations. I am also posting a picture of Ann so you know if you are severely injured or hurt to use your caution around her. As she has lack of knowledge for people who are on hospital passes.
But if you go down to the street to Edna. You will find they accomodate everyone. They have a ramp for wheelchairs and walkers. They say you don't have to make a purchase here to use the washrooms.. My daughter and I liked it here so much. We stayed for lunch. The waitress here are very welcoming and warming. They go out of there way to help you. I highly give EdnA a10 star out of 5 and 7 bay a 0. Just keep in mind you might need a reservation to get into Edna's as they are extremely busy.

Great Local Spot with Delicious Food!
I had the chance to visit Seven Bays Cafe recently, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the place.
The menu features a great selection of dishes with fresh, local ingredients. I particularly loved the [insert specific dish], which was flavorful and expertly prepared. They also offer several vegetarian and gluten-free options, which is always a nice touch. The portions were generous, and I felt like I really got good value for my money.
My only small critique is that the service was a bit slower than expected, but the food more than made up for it. The cafe has a great vibe, and it's clear they care about sustainability and quality. I'd definitely return for another meal and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I came in as I had to use the restrooms, and I was told that it's only for paying customers, which is fine as this policy is widely utilized by a lot of food places. I paid for the coffee, which was average, by the way, but as I stepped into the bathroom, I was shocked. It was stinking bad and wasn't cleaned even though it was the opening time as I went around 8.30. If you are basically charging people for using the facilities, you need to take extra care after them, but here it was like it hadn't gotten even little care at all. Would never think of coming back or recommending it to someone.
