I ordered khoresht gheymeh, and it was the worst dish I’ve ever had.

The food quality was okay, but it seemed like they were serving finger food. The portions were incredibly small, but the prices matched other Persian restaurants with larger portions. The service was also lacking; they didn’t even refill our water without asking, even though we were the only customers.

Bu resturanda bir İranlı olarak büyük hayal kırıklığına uğradık eşimle. Olumlu tek şey resturanın içinde İran gıda ürünleri marketı idi. Üzgünüm ilk ve son defa uğradık ! Çalışanlar çok saygılı ve güler yüzlü , ancak yemekler tam bir hayal kırıklığı idi. Yazık !

Extremely delicious food and great atmosphere. Very friendly people, couldn’t be better. Had a great time with my friend. Will 100% come again next time I’m in Halifax.

The treatment is good and the place is very clean, unlike some restaurants. I ordered kebab with rice and I also asked for black tea with sugar cubes. For the first time, I feel that I have brought back some old memories in a quiet atmosphere. Thank you. I will really come back.

Shandiz is a different experience! The food is great with a generous amount. The waitress is really nice and attentive. Definitely recommend that place.

The staff were very kind and welcoming. The food was okay, not amazing but acceptable.
However, there was a very strong curry-like smell inside the restaurant, which I hadn’t experienced before at a Persian restaurant. Unfortunately, it was quite overwhelming for me, so I ended up requesting my order as takeout.

This was the second time I was trying Shandiz. The management and chef has changed I could see significant change in the service and quality!

The Koobideh kebab that I tried this time was definitely way better than before, the Saffron Tea was delightful— the rice portion and kebab’s size, as well as The plate designing was what i expected.

While there are always room for improvement, I believe they are doing their best to improve their services after the recent changes in their team. I wish them luck!

Very nice service, beautiful restaurant but the food....this is NOT authentic persian food. Yogurt texture was WEIRD. Kobideh was not good at all. It Had a weird texture and it had no onions in it. We have had persian food in almost all of the provinces in Canada and this one was by far the worst persian food we've ever had. The bread they served with yogurt was cold, as if it just came out of the fridge. It's unfortunate. But it's a pretty restaurant though.

Had a wonderful experience at Shandiz Restaurant in Halifax! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and perfectly prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the meal even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality!
