This was my second visit to Shuck’s and I have been thoroughly impressed. Excellent service, great food, and very friendly. Shoutout to Eugene (at the Oyster Bar) and our server (I don’t remember her name) for their exceptional hospitality!!

We got there early enough for oyster happy hour, fantastic! Delicious fresh oysters at a great price. The clam pasta and lobster cocktail were delicious as well! Our server was friendly, cheerful, attentive and knowledgeable of all items on the menu. To top it all off it's a great ambiance. Highly recommend Shuck Seafood+ Raw Bar. If you love oysters you want to go here between 4-6pm, you won't find oysters at that price anywhere else and they're very tasty.

Our experience was unique. Being there in December, the crowds were nonexistent. Our waitress was great. They seated us at what we considered, one of the best tables in the restaurant. They exemplified real professionalism in all ways.

Happy Hour is a must do for the oyster lover. We enjoyed three dozen and wish we had ordered more. We shared the fish and chips entree as we were starting to feel full after all of the oysters. The panko crust was a refreshing alternative to a beer battered filet. It had just the right amount of spiciness and the texture was crunchy on the exterior, while tender and moist fish awaited your palette in the interior.

Dessert was a warm slice of toffee caramel cake topped with a generous scoop of cinnamon ice cream.

Exceptional experience in every way.

Overall my experience was good. I had the East coast boil and it was okay but nothing spectacular. I also had some oysters and they were great. The ambiance was fantastic and so was our service.

1. Oyster is mid.
2. I do think they are not kindest to Asian people. Obviously mistreating. Manager is not even listening to me when I was talking and shaking his head making the speechless face. It made us felt so uncomfortable and not welcome.
3. We came here for the happy hour oyster. We asked for the detail of happy hour oyster, but since the happy hour is just few lines of time duration of happy hour. We thought ordering the oyster on the menu refers to the happy hour price. Who knows the oyster have different types regards to regular menu and happy hour? Nobody mentioned to us anyways. Then we ordered 4 chucks of oyster directly from the menu. The lady served us didn’t notify us anything even we did asked her about happy hour oyster and what kind of idiots came here and order 4 chucks of oyster for the regular price? Yeah that will be us:) We could take that if the oysters were good, but the problem is that the oysters were too salty where my friend said that it’s different from what she had in Vancouver. Some of the oysters were dry and pity little tiny. We thought that’s because of the happy hour so we understood it wouldn’t be the best quality they have. However, it turned out those oysters were their best quality menu food. Then things get interesting, the bill was approx. 160 before tips for 4 chucks of mid-taste oysters that didn’t even worth the price. We spoke with the lady about how the communication could go wrong as we thought we ordered the oyster for the happy hour price. She stated that we didn’t order the happy hour oysters but the regular menu one as the oysters types are different and she introduced to us when serving it up the table. So basically she expected us to find the mistake but instead of just giving us a kind little heads up and confirming if we are ordering the regular menu or the happy hour? Plus, our first language is not English, and both the lady and the manager spoke pretty much the fastest I ever heard, misunderstanding happened. They never admitted their issue and keep telling us there is nothing they could do here. I tried to explain kindly to the manager but when my sentence went half he started to shake his head and gave me so bad body language that obviously his not listening to me anymore.

We don’t care about the money, it’s not a big deal if your oysters were good on the first place. The service, is making me tired.
