Definitely recommend coming during happy hour (between 4-6pm all week) and having the $1.50 oysters, which I think is the cheapest you can get these days. We had 12 each of the PEI and Nova Scotia oysters and both were delicious. Victoria was really great explaining the different oysters to us and the flavours, and even suggested some things we should go see in Halifax.

Overall a wonderful delight. The service was great, friendly and attentive. She automatically gave us two spoons to share. Food was great. Love the pickles n the calamari and all the pair sauce for the oysters. We went for happy hour and order other food as well. Everything was made perfectly. I had a great time and experience.

Thank you Ariane, the chef (and his team) for a great experience of excellant service, delicious food and perfect evening in Halifax. The ceviche was outstanding, the oysters I reordered and the East Coast Boil was perfection in a bowl.

Attended a political event there last night that attracted a protest. Very poorly handled by the staff and especially the Manager. Lucky he didn't cause things to escalate outside. My last visit .

There are a lot of sketchy characters hanging out here. I witnessed the owner yelling and cursing at people. He seemed like he had been awake for days. Very uncomfortable! Would not recommend.

Poor quality for the price. Mediocre service - saw the manager yelling at people so that may explain the poor morale among service

I was disappointed with this restaurant. We ordered the seafood tower and, aside from the oysters, nothing was tasty. Seafood dishes, like the ceviche, were poorly seasoned and rather bland. The half lobster was chewy. Meanwhile, we ordered a bottle of champagne which, all things considered, did lift our spirits. However, aside from opening the bottle and setting it on ice, at no point were our glasses refilled. The ambiance also did not match other local eateries/pubs in the area.

Came for $1.50 oysters, they were fine but pretty underwhelming. Also grabbed some calamari which was notably bad. That plus a couple beers cost $65+, definitely can find better spots in the area to drink and eat. Staff and atmosphere was lovely though!

Happy hour is probably the best in the city. Oysters for $1.50 and $7 beer. Wish the happy hour menu was a bit bigger, like included some carb options for the beer. Busy at happy hour. Staff were shucking like crazy!
