It was my first poutine ever. I thought they tasted okay, both the fries and the sauce with the cheese. I found the price to be a bit high for a snack stand like this at around 15.50 CAD, but at least you can sit comfortably in a deck chair at the harbor and look at the water. (09/2024)

Excellent Poutine, it was my first authentic one as we stopped in on a New England cruise. Highly recommend. I got the original because i wanted a good baseline and it did not disappoint. They made it fresh to order!

A great place to get some great tasting food. There is a great selection of classic Canadian food at a reasonable price. The food tastes great and the service is friendly.

I don't eat poutine but the staff kindly filled my water bottle when the JUNO organizers failed to provide a water station at their event.

Overpriced and not very good.

Oof. I'm sure the uninitiated might enjoy it but this is not good poutine. Almost any other option on the waterfront is better.

While in Halifax, I had to try a poutine. I went to the location along the harbor, but there are other locations in the city. You get alot of food, I couldn't eat it all. It's worth trying it if you go.

Stopped by the Smoke’s Poutinerie waterfront location in Halifax, NS off of a cruise ship. Quick, friendly service. I got the standard poutine and wife got it with onions. Very good and a generous serving. There are some tables there to accommodate several eateries. There is another seating area over by the water. Wish we could get this food closer to home in Illinois, USA.

Traditional Poutine! Really very good, fries and very hot sauce with a good amount of cheese that makes it squik-squick.
