This place is amazing. I came here from Cape Breton to Halifax and I am very impressed about how the service was. The food was absolutely amazing and I really liked how the owner himself gave us free ginger tea - and prayed our trip back to Cape Breton. 10/10 service, and 10/10 food.

I went to Song's Korean restaurant with a Korean friend when we visited Halifax for one day, and it was just one of the highlights of our trip. The food was so delicious and tasted like real home-made Korean food, the service was super friendly and we even took some more to go with us. My friend grew up in Korea and is usually very picky with her native food, and she really loved it too. I would definitely go back there if I'm in Halifax again.

Ordered through uber eats earlier. Gamjatang was so bland, no taste. Bulgogi was also bland. Sidedishes were placed in 1 container lol! Would not order again

Song’s Korean Restaurant feels like eating at a friend’s home. The owner “uncle” is so friendly—he greets you with a big smile, checks in often, and makes great recommendations. The food tastes truly homestyle: crisp kimchi, sizzling bulgogi, hearty stews, and banchan that keep coming. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the cozy vibe makes it easy to linger. If you’re craving comforting Korean flavors with warm, genuine hospitality, this is the spot.

It's the best Korean restaurant in Nova Scotia. We ordered kalbi Korean steam rib, kimchi stew and seafood kimchi pancake. The owner is very friendly and he always gives us extra side dish and hot tea. He serve foods in very traditional ways and I love it since it reminds me of foods in Korea.

I was in Halifax last fall and ordered the Pork Bone Soup. I am back in Washington DC now and am still looking for Pork Bone Soup as good. I wish I could have it delivered from Song’s. Is was that good.
I was there for lunch a few months ago and then reordered with Skip the Dishes again last week. Both times the food was just as fresh, delicious, generous amount and arrived hot. The lady that serviced me was friendly and helpful with my dietary restrictions. I am going to visit there again soon for bbq with my son.
All I can tell you is if you want authentic Korean food just don’t go to Song’ Korean !
Ordered the K1 pork bone soup. Smelled absolutely delightful. However it was extremely spicy, like blood red levels of spice. It didn’t mention anywhere in the order menu that it had spice and was not a customization option. I don’t do spice well so it was inedible sadly
Had a wonder time here - cozy atmosphere, delicious food and the owners were so sweet and went above and beyond. Thank you :)
