Very solid spot for working or catching up with a friend. Plenty of outlets, good Wi-Fi, and the music isn’t too loud. Drinks are a bit overpriced, but the quality justifies it. Friendly service every time I’ve been in.

Been going for years! It’s my absolute favourite coffee shop to go to when I visit Halifax. I’m obsessed with the breakfast sandwich and dark chocolate oat cookies:)

A secret that is not so secret anymore.

Steve-os is a fantastic cafe with a focus of doing a few things really really well. You can get a fantastic Americano made with the same care as a delectious sandwich.

Don't let that stop you from popping in for lunch though. That sandwich as said is delicious, and they also have a selection of local cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

My wife and I visited Halifax from Toronto and Steve-O-Reno is hands-down our favourite coffee shop for breakfast. We came here for breakfast 3 out of the 5 days we were in Halifax.

Their pour-over single origin coffee was incredibly well-brewed and their latte was also fantastic. The barista definitely knew what he was doing.

All the pastries and bread were fresh and delicious. My wife bought 3 different scones and all of them were big and tasty, so were the bagels and muffins that I had.

The coffee shop had a great atmosphere overall as well. Truly a gem in the city!

Doesn’t worth the experience.
The food is average and small portions, you can get anywhere for less price.
Service is poor and you have to wait a lot to be serviced.
Almost no space inside.

A chance find but well worth going out of your way for. A steady stream of locals (which is always a good sign), interesting menu, really good quality food, pleasant atmosphere. Lots of attention to waste handling measures.

We stopped in for breakfast. Man, what a place! A quaint, little, community spot where they know your name. We walked in and people sitting, having breakfast smiled at us.
They had a simple menu beautifully drawn on a blackboard; fantastic and very healthy options where no one could go wrong.
While we were ordering two of the best cappuccinos we ever had, someone accidentally dropped their coffee and the whole place turned to look at what happened. The owners put the man at ease by name and everybody got the sense that they really meant when they said that it was, “OK, not to worry.“
Great location, great ownership, great food, and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Took about 20mins to get the 2 drinks, the drink with the lid on it is suppose to be a London fog and they did not steam the milk or anything it just tasted like tea with a bit of milk. Smoothie no maple syrup was added to it and the cinnamon bun sizes are way inconsistent plus spending $33.40 was not worth the price at all especially if drinks are not being made to be proper.

There is so good coffee around!😍😍😍
