Busy busy place. Hard to find seating, service was slow, forgot to give muffin. Food was good. Coffee was alright no complaints.

The food is not bad but it's not worth the experience. The service was poor, we arrived at the place and we were totally ignored, we had to chase a waitress to ask if we had to be seated or we could take a table ourselves (the two people at the bar looked directly at us and completely ignored us). It seems to me the people at the kitchen had to do everything (from cooking and serving to cleaning up) while the people behind the bar just take orders (they won't do anything beyond that) It's really disappointing because we found that people in Halifax are very friendly and helpful. My suggestion: walk around the corner (not even 2 minutes!) and go to an Italian cafe nearby (we had the best Devil's Chocolate cake there).

Very cute breakfast restaurant. We were able to order straight away and received our breakfast relatively quickly. A lot of people came after us, so we were lucky. The spot is well attended. The coffee and also the rolls were very tasty. Unfortunately, the temperature inside the restaurant was far too warm for us.

The location in downtown Halifax is perfect! ? The parking is an issue though, it's hard to find a spot. ? The layout and decorations are unique but could use some upgrades. ? The tables are way too close together. ?‍♂️ Cleanliness and service are acceptable. ? The breakfast has limited options but it's still delicious! ?? Only had a deep dark roast Canadiana. Very tasty! Service was impeccable, friendly and courteous. The place itself is a historical looking spot. Even the light shades look original ‘50s. The glass work on entrance and bar is very nostalgic as well.

Kid-friendliness: They were very kind with children.

Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches ( egg o Reno is the best in my opinion . Cranberry energy cookies are amazing to . Great service and great people . Will be back when in Halifax again !

Came here for a quick cappuccino. Service was friendly, but it took over 15 minutes just to get the drink. It took so long that the person behind me apologized because they thought their drink was already up but I'd been there waiting much longer than her already, but fortunately it was my drink.

The drink itself was an average cappuccino, nothing special or remarkable.
