I ordered the traditional breakfast with avocado and salmon as sides. It was delicious! And the Latte was also very good.

Cappuccinos are great here….
This place is too small to have far too many people hogging tables with laptops and often nothing left infront of them with their cups seeming to be long dried up, if it seems busy take a hint and go to Starbucks or the library with your laptops you inconsiderate/entitled people.

A Halifax gem!
Great coffee, friendly staff, and a cozy Halifax vibe. The breakfast avocado toast is amazing and the espresso is always perfect. One of my go-to spots in the city!

Just a stone's throw away from where we were staying at Prince George Hotel, this is quite the busy spot according to my wife. My eggs Benedict was absolutely FABULOUS. Her choice equally GOOD, along with our respective coffees.

Had a lovely salmon bagel here, it’s a lovely little spot for brunch or lunch. A limited menu of bagels and sandwiches but what they do they seem to do well.

Best rosemary montreal bagels!!!!!!
Steve-O-Reno's seedy oatcake is quite possibly the best oatcake in Halifax (in NS?... the world?). It was so good and a pretty hefty size so you are getting a good deal for your money. The cappuccino was great too and beautiful to look at. They have a sweet patio where you can tuck away in peace and quiet with a book for a little while. Though they close a little earlier than most places (2 pm on saturdays), they were pretty relaxed and did not boot anyone out right at 2 pm on the dot. Great background playlist too. Thank you Steve-O-Reno's people!

Very solid spot for working or catching up with a friend. Plenty of outlets, good Wi-Fi, and the music isn’t too loud. Drinks are a bit overpriced, but the quality justifies it. Friendly service every time I’ve been in.

Been going for years! It’s my absolute favourite coffee shop to go to when I visit Halifax. I’m obsessed with the breakfast sandwich and dark chocolate oat cookies:)

A secret that is not so secret anymore.
Steve-os is a fantastic cafe with a focus of doing a few things really really well. You can get a fantastic Americano made with the same care as a delectious sandwich.
Don't let that stop you from popping in for lunch though. That sandwich as said is delicious, and they also have a selection of local cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

My wife and I visited Halifax from Toronto and Steve-O-Reno is hands-down our favourite coffee shop for breakfast. We came here for breakfast 3 out of the 5 days we were in Halifax.
Their pour-over single origin coffee was incredibly well-brewed and their latte was also fantastic. The barista definitely knew what he was doing.
All the pastries and bread were fresh and delicious. My wife bought 3 different scones and all of them were big and tasty, so were the bagels and muffins that I had.
The coffee shop had a great atmosphere overall as well. Truly a gem in the city!
