Just a stone's throw away from where we were staying at Prince George Hotel, this is quite the busy spot according to my wife. My eggs Benedict was absolutely FABULOUS. Her choice equally GOOD, along with our respective coffees.
Steve-O-Reno's seedy oatcake is quite possibly the best oatcake in Halifax (in NS?... the world?). It was so good and a pretty hefty size so you are getting a good deal for your money. The cappuccino was great too and beautiful to look at. They have a sweet patio where you can tuck away in peace and quiet with a book for a little while. Though they close a little earlier than most places (2 pm on saturdays), they were pretty relaxed and did not boot anyone out right at 2...
