The beers are excellent and good recommendation from the Barman. The atmosphere is great with a great playlist! And the succulent smash burger and fries. I highly recommend after a good day visiting the city.

Nice quaint taproom with good beer and some of the best chicken wings I have had! It gets crowded pretty fast so weekends would have to be planned in order to grab places to sit.

I had a smoothie sour beer recently and it was so good! But their beer changed frequently - which I love because you can always try new beer there. The food is also very tasty and I love the social atmosphere. Great place! Highly recommend

Very nice place, well appointed. Excellent service. The employees are friendly and know their products very well. What can we say about the choice of beer! It is very diverse and of good quality. One of the rare places in the Maritimes where you can find lambic on the bottle menu. Small disappointment, Stillwell no longer makes farmhouse type beers.

We only had time for a beer cause it was late already but we enjoyed the place ! Loved how every little detail fits with the industrial vibe of the place, even the coasters. The barman chatted with us and recommended us a hiking spot for our next day, very nice !

I went in to kill some time with a book/ get a spot to eat/ shelter from horrendous weather. My choice was totally justified. Nice selection of local beer on tap/ canned, as well as a slightly esoteric collection of bottle Belgian beer. The Tony burger is bangin', if not a bit too salty. Fries were cracking too, nicely seasoned with a mayo dip on the side. Staff were friendly and helpful, even if the chap I spoke to is a Crystal Palace fan (and we hate them because of Adam Wharton and the 1989 2nd division play off final) which I won't hold against him.

Love this bar, it’s one of the trendiest places in Halifax if you’re a craft beer lover. We always visit when we are in town. I had a poutine here tho on my last visit and it was terrible. The spices in the gravy or the fries really just don’t work. Everybody at my table tried it and we all agreed it wasn’t good — but maybe some think it is. Regardless the beer and vibe here is 10/10!
