Easily my favourite place in Halifax. Great selection of beer brewed in house and lots of interesting special guest taps.
Super innovative and delicious food at reasonable prices. I can't believe I've never had okonomiyaki fries before, these are a revelation. Delicious smash burgers, and the cacao e pepe popcorn is a total sleeper hit (though definitely not a portion to tackle alone).

I enjoyed this spot but I wouldn’t rush to go there again. I’d recommend the lobster roll with dill, it was very tasty (but quite pricy, especially with only some chips as a side). The IPA I had was nice, but nothing special. Service was fine, though they tried to hand us someone else’s credit card when we hadn’t even started a tab, which was a bit concerning. Atmosphere could be better. They had a single dart board downstairs but it was in use the whole time we were there.

Great spot with great rotating taps and excellent food. I was here during my first visit to Halifax in 2019 so it was top of my list to come back to. It’s still a prime space with a banger of a menu and friendly staff.
My only comments are it’s quite a dark space during the day even when it’s sunny out, so better for a dreary day or night hang if you’re after daylight vibes. The music when I was there was also quite eclectic and punk/emo-ish niche (and kind of loud), which is generally fine but was a bit odd.
