I enjoyed this spot but I wouldn’t rush to go there again. I’d recommend the lobster roll with dill, it was very tasty (but quite pricy, especially with only some chips as a side). The IPA I had was nice, but nothing special. Service was fine, though they tried to hand us someone else’s credit card when we hadn’t even started a tab, which was a bit concerning. Atmosphere could be better. They had a single dart board downstairs but it was in use the whole time we were there.
Great spot with great rotating taps and excellent food. I was here during my first visit to Halifax in 2019 so it was top of my list to come back to. It’s still a prime space with a banger of a menu and friendly staff.
My only comments are it’s quite a dark space during the day even when it’s sunny out, so better for a dreary day or night hang if you’re after daylight vibes. The music when I was there was also quite eclectic and punk/emo-ish niche (and...

Fantastic place that has become my go-to for a fresh pint and bar food downtown.
