Love their bagels!

Bread spoils way too fast (1 day after baking). Fresh bread should last at least a few days before starting to go bad. Sorry but I feel like the bakery is unsanitary if the bread is only lasting a day.

Purchased Bagels & Rye Bread at Sobeys # 772 in Dartmouth. Best decision I've ever made. Finally I tasted what Rye bread should taste like & the Bagels were delicious as well.

The best bread in NS! Focaccia, herb and cheese, jalapeño and so much more! Tastiest cookies ? ever inclusive of the kitchen sink, double chocolate chip, ginger bread, oatmeal and raisin and much more! We also have cinnamon rolls, scones and several more pastries and goodies! We cater also!

Stone Hearth Bakery provided delicious catering for the AGM at LakeCity Works! Great service and presentation! Glad to support a NS social enterprise doing good work!
Stonehearth is a great way for me to find out more about the dealing with the public and the community around me

Their product might be good ( questionable), their bakery management not so much.

We LOVE Stone Hearth Bisto! I take family, friends and clients there for lunches quite frequently. Their food is always fresh and delicious. The servers (who are mostly part of a re-entering the workforce program) are amazing and so friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed and classy. Great location, too! The Tuscon Grilled Chicken Sandwich (open face) is delicious and perfectly portioned. Salads and breads are all fresh and delicious, and they use local produce! Overall a wonderful little bistro that I would encourage EVERYONE to visit!

Great food, I've known about the Stone Hearth Bistro since they opened and been meaning to check them out. The food is excellent all the bread is made fresh from the Stone Hearth Bakery. I had the Club House Sandwich made with smoked turkey, pancetta bacon, caramelized and an onion mayo. It was great, my fellow diners with one exception had the club as well, the other person had the cheeseburger, she raved about how good it was, the bun was excellent, she had the onion rings they were out of this world, I will be back for those. On top of a great meal the Stone Hearth is part of a non profit organization giving people experience necessary to reenter the workforce, so you're helping people improve their lives while enjoying a fabulous meal.

Last night was my first visit to Stone Hearth Bistro and I will be back! It's in the space that used to be Bayers Road Shopping Centre and if I hadn't been warned ahead of time that is where the Zellers was, it would have been tricky to find. Once inside, it is decorated very stylishly, but not so much so that it is pretentious or stiff. Our server was very friendly and did a great job. We shared a brushetta, which was just fine. My only gripe might be that it wasn't super-warm, but that's kind of nit-picky. We also were given bread sticks which were not warmed. For food, two of us had Line Caught Nova Scotia Haddock and it was quite yummy. It comes with a tasty slaw that is not cut up enough so there's a bit of wrestling required! Another had Triple Decker Smoked Turkey Club and the fourth had Grilled Portobello Burger, and no complaints. The four of us are looking forward to our next visit - reasonably-priced, nicely decorated, and not too loud! Not quite perfect, but it suits us.
