I had great expectations for this spot, and was delighted to find out they were doing Celtic music on Tuesday nights in the summer. I finally made it on the last Tuesday this was available, and the music and vibe were fantastic, but unfortunately, the service was not. Long wait just for drinks, more waiting for our food order, and an ever longer wait for the food to actually come, which was cold by the time it did. Private note has been sent to the establishment, hopefully others have had a better experience than we did.

Nice patio with a water view. Service was excellent. Beer very good. Unfortunately there is currently construction mess quite close so that view wasn't great. Great to have a nice patio attached to the hotel we were staying at. We will come again for sure.

East Enders was playing (best, high energy band ever!) and that's what brought us to Stones Throw for the first time. We reserved a spot on the patio that had 2 Adirondack chairs with a propane fire place and we were directly in front of the band. This was definitely the highlight. They gave us complimentary house-made kettle chips. My husband had the best burger he ever had and my chowder was loaded with fresh NS seafood and came with a house made tea biscuit. The prices were decent ($95 before tip for cheeseburger platter and chowder, 3 glasses of 9 oz house white wine, and 2 craft beer - the beer were ordered during happy hour) For us, it's all about the entertainment so we will definitely be back when they have a band we want to see. Our server was excellent. As noted in other reviews, expect your food to take about an hour; knowing this before hand can keep everything positive! Loved our evening here! Thank you for accommodating our special anniversary request!

Gorgeous night on there patio! The chicken wings are an MUST ORDER! Amazing! Best you will ever eat!! The live music provided by “Doug” was second to none.. very very talented performance! “10 Stars!” 😊👍

We have been coming to stones throw since it opened originally (not sure of the year but definitely over 6 years), we make the trek down to visit at least once per year - I love the nachos, the fish n chips are the best anywhere for the value and freshness and quantity- even great as left overs! My son loves the chicken fingers n fries as he really is picky and wouldn't eat anything on the regular menu but he's a kid so glad they have a kids menu but with great portions! The service was fairly good and outside was a beautiful day!

Food overall was good. Nachos were delicious. Service was terrible. Nachos were half eaten by the time waitress came with salsa and sour cream. We also asked for nachos as appetizer but everything came out at the same time and we waited 20 minutes for our bills after asking for them.

Beautiful view. Service is good but slow. A meal of a burger and a beer shouldn't take an hour and a half. However, if you're not in a hurry, the view is nice, the food is good and the people are friendly.
This place is incredible! Our server Cody was excellent! He went out of his way to make our experience as memorable and enjoyable as possible. Will definitely come again!

We stopped here for drinks and a meal on a Saturday afternoon. Was greeted and shown to a table overlooking the harbour; atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately, with the place only about 20% full and lots of servers not looking busy, no one came to take out order. After 15 minutes of non-service, we left a walked over to Lower Deck.
