Finally made it to Sully & Porter - what a cute spot! I didn’t dine in today, got some pastries to go. I wanted to try everything! The chocolate almond croissant and lemon meringue pastry were both delicious. I haven’t tried the others yet. Looking forward to going back to sit in with a hot beverage & pastry or scone. There are plenty of seats and a cozy vibe.

Very cozy café that we visited on a Sunday afternoon. It got really busy, so seems to be popular.

I have yet to find a cafe in Halifax that is love at first sight. The food is unique compared to other cafes in Halifax, service is amazing and very friendly. I will definitely be back here to try some other cool things they have!

The Oxford Breakfast sandwich is absolutely amazing. The homemade English muffins and tomato jam elevate it way beyond a typical breakfast sandwich. Also tried the Oreo cinnamon bun which was phenomenal

Iced latte was alright. I would not order it again or recommend.
Service way too slow, 15+ mins for 2 bagels is actually insane. I felt bad because they were soo busy but they should hire more knowing there is a morning rush.

Cute neighborhood cafe. Friendly staff. Seating inside for maybe 30 or 40, over two levels? A few outdoor tables on the Liverpool St side for the nice days, like today was. Tons of baked goods that I look forward to trying. But I wanted to try the vegan breakfast burrito mainly, as that's right up my alley. Available in half sizes, which is a great idea for the less hungry or calorie watchers. I opted for the full for $14 I think? It was well made, fresh, stayed decently intact. Taste-wise good but a bit dry & bland. Felt like it was missing something, whether a bit of veg or maybe salsa. I did add the packets of hot sauce that were provided, but still think just something with a bit more flavor was needed. Good iced latte. I definitely would come back anytime though.
Used to live around the corner and was back in the neighborhood. Noticed this was new so I decided to give it a try. The chocolate croissant was DIVINE, service was quick and friendly (granted it was later on in the evening so we were the only ones in) and my iced mocha was not only delicious but also very pretty. Would absolutely go again if I happen to be in the neighborhood!

I realllllly want to love it here because it's a cute place local to the west end but I have been so unimpressed every time I visit.
The breakfast sandwich really isn't it - the salsa is honestly pretty off-putting and makes the whole thing soggy.
I know the baked goods and pastries are supposed to be stellar but my cruffin (croissant muffin for the uninitiated) was doughy in the middle and since then I've just had fine experiences with the pastries.
My final point is the price which is pretty high. Now I'm a gal that doesn't mind paying $7 for a latte (things cost what they cost, I get it, especially in this economy) but charging an extra $1 for every modification is a bit absurd. Charging $6 for an iced Americano is a touch spicy.
