Thai Express Restaurant Halifax

The only closest thing about Thailand in Thai Express were the names of the food.

One time I ordered basil fried rice and a non-thai-asian-male gave one leaf of basil and one pea-size carrot.

Another time I ordered their deal meal and gave me FOOD POISONING. I sent my complaints (with receipt) on their main website, the day after I got sick. Then, they emailed me asking what exactly is wrong with the food. How can they prevent cross contamination if, they don't seemed to know common health issues that arise from it.

I ordered the chicken soup and padthai ( padthai with fish as protein was good) via uber eats. The soup was so SALTY ( No exaggeration) and the chicken was WHITE and Bland.. Thank me later 😊

We ordered green spicy chicken which was not spicy at all and also it wasn’t green it was VERY VERY white it felt like it was just boiled noodle with salt when i went to the counter the gentle who was making the noodle was nice enough to give me red spicy sauce on the side but the cashier was giving me looks and showing me hand signs never going to come back i paid 20 dollars just to have boiled noodle with 5-6 pcs of chicken.

Very bad food, Specially rude and racist cashier

The staff here are sooo unpleasant! Asking for them to correct an error to have the food I paid for to not be spicy and their response was to aggressively toss the food on to the counter! Come on, do better as this is becoming a habit! Food is good though

The eggs were scrambled into small, wet pieces, and the sauce was too heavy.

I didn't want the small packing box he gave me, so I added a tofu on purpose, but the result was that he gave me that small packing box to save the cost of the box.And the Asian waiter who gave it to me had a really bad attitude.

Horrible service, 4 different skip the dishes people came in got there orders and left , 2 of us in line 25 minutes, product not cooked properly and the staff were stuck in extremely slow motion. Thai express Sackville is always good , but this was

It’s also how I feel about their Pad Thai. I love spicy chicken Pad Thai. Today I was at The Halifax Shopping Center when my craving hit. There was no line (unusual). My food took about as long as usual to prepare. I get a cup of peanuts with it and a set of chop sticks. Although it wasn’t as spicy as I like, it was one of the best I’ve had in a while.Cons:I’ve noticed they don’t seem to cut up the chicken very well and I find myself wanting a utensil to do it myself.Otherwise I miss the blocks of tofu. I’ve got to remember to ask for it because I don’t seem to get any these days unless they are cutting it up so small that I don’t notice. I doubt this (see my 1st con)NOTE: The hours were incorrectly listed when I wrote this. I’ve submitted corrections as the food court including Thai Express is open 9:30am-9:00pm Monday-Saturday

I personally love Thai Express and like to treat myself to a General Thairacha sometimes. I’ve never been to this location before but WOW. This location in my opinion is much better than the DC location. I am highly impressed with how great this meal was given how busy the mall was.I think I found my preferred location when getting a General Thairacha!!Thank you so much for the great meal!!
