So disappointed , the chicken was so dry it almost popped ... the portion was also so much smaller than before and the cost has increased drastically
Ray’s was my go-to for shawarma when working in Bayers Lake. Generous portions & awesome quality. The portions have since dwindled and the price has almost doubled. I guess it is now going to be the occasional treat. Yikes!
Ray’s is and always been the very best. Quality is second to none and service just as spectacular. Amazing flavour, incredible experience from beginning to end. Every time.

The worst I've ever tested kafta was smelly and disgusting shawarma the same thing for the fries they could be anything but not fries very very disappointing 😕
Good food. Though it's freezing inside. Bring an extra sweater there is blowing cold air over everyone. Don't eat the potatoes, they are dry.
Went to Rays for lunch today. Was served by the owner. He's a verry nice guy, always has a smile and gives great service! Food was high quality and fresh. Portions are verry big which no one can complain about! 10/10 would reccommend

Ray’s is by far the best Lebanese food in the city. We have been coming to this location for years now and have never once been disappointed. The staff is always so friendly, ingredients are always fresh and made in house, and food is delicious. Overall the environment feels like you’re walking into a friends home for dinner. Highly reccomend to anyone in the city!

We had Ray’s cater for a group function. I loved Ray’s chicken pita when he was in the Scotia Square food court. There was no similarity between those and what we received from Ray’s. The humous was great - nice and fluffy. The meal also came with a fresh salad and delicious dressing. We had two huge pans of rice, a pan of dry, shredded chicken - not the luscious chunks I expected, and a pan of ground beef (?). There was a small container of pickled radishes - too small for the number of people we ordered for - and the “garlic” sauce that had very little flavour.
And then I heard that Ray’s has a new owner. I felt sad for Ray who put his heart and soul into cheerily serving his delicious pitas and this is what Ray’s means now?

Best restaurant in Halifax, I think this is only place where I can get full in just $15-$20. The dine in is so calm and beautiful. Loved the place, service and food.
