The worse service ever, we were in the middle of eating that the staff came and asked if we are done, like they were in rush. The fish and chips was horrible just a fish in the flour and oil. The chicken burger also was not good. The only good thing was the fries beside the food.

Nice little spot. Hidden in a courtyard. Only seats about 40 ish at the tables and bar. Nice fireplace on a cold day. Personable staff. Food is good and drinks are refreshing :) Would be a good spot for a small reception or party. Outdoor seating in the warmer seasons would be fun in the courtyard. Rock walk old English Pub style interior. Clean and nice washroom.

A great bookend to the location on Agricola. This one is a little larger and more fresh but still cozy and charming. Same menu. Definitely worth a visit. I normally do the curry but the bangers and mash were pretty awesome.

A favourite stop for us whenever we visit Halifax. Great service, awesome food and a fine selection of drinks makes this a place worthy of a visit.
Stopped by for a drink. Cozy Irish pub atmosphere. Friendly staff. Directed by Keith's brewery staff to go here, as it was closed. Limited wine lisit. Didn't have food, but it smelled appetizing.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available for accessibility access

Wonderful space and great service! We went on a Sunday afternoon, so it was very quiet but still a great atmosphere. The food was great, but can’t wait to go back and try different dishes.

My favourite establishment in the entire city. Both Hound locations are my go to pubs in Halifax. Cannot say enough good things. The steak and Guinness pie cannot be beat. Such a quality meal.

We've been going there since our daughter moved to the city 2 years ago. Our favorite. But we went on the night of the doobie Brothers concert and half way through our meal a waitress asked us if we would mind moving so that a table of 6 could be seated. So there we were moving our plates and utensils half way through our meal. We could have said no I suppose and didn't. We were shocked to say the least.
