Delicious food, great location, amazing staff. Maybe it's weird but I like to base restaurants by the fries. If the restaurant puts effort into a side that would most likely be thrown out, than the rest of the food will be delicious. (I really liked the french fries)

Don’t have anything bad to say. Food was phenomenal, Charming/Fun staff and delightful atmosphere. The Digby Scallops are insane with garlic butter and the Oysters are some of the best in the city.

First Visit to Halifax, N.S. I discovered this restaurant while watching a YouTube video in preparation for my trip to Halifax. As soon as I landed, it was my very first stop to have lunch, but unfortunately, it was closed that day for Halloween. I made sure to return the next evening for dinner, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the Hot Seafood Medley, and it was absolutely delicious, exactly the kind of East Coast comfort food I had imagined. Every bite was bursting with fresh, authentic flavour. Our server, Ethan, was outstanding. He took the time to explain to us how to properly crack open the lobster, described the dish in detail, and even checked with the kitchen to accommodate our dietary restrictions. He was polite, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to talk to. He's definitely an asset to the restaurant. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of coastal charm. Overall, I give this place 5 stars. They checked every box for me, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Halifax!

🦞 A Luxurious Seafood Tower on the Halifax Waterfront
Had an absolutely incredible seafood experience at Cable Wharf Kitchen & Patio on the Halifax, NS waterfront! The restaurant's location, right on the water , offers a stunning view that perfectly complements the menu.
A beautiful location on the waterfront with friendly staff and delicious food. We were greeted promptly and our server was cheerful. We split a Cesar salad which was a great little appetizer with not too much dressing and wonderful shaved parm. The claims linguine was perfectly done with lots of claims, parm cheese and 3 large claims in their shell, garlic toast was a very generous portion. The fish & chips came with 2 pieces of cod with a thin coating and not greasy. You have eat here if ever in Halifax.

Lovely atmosphere and waiter was friendly. I had the lobster roll and my friend had fish cakes. The lobster roll was mushy and had too much dill and wasn't pleasant to eat. My companions' fish cakes were very dry and overly fishy. The remainder of our party enjoyed their meal - scollops and chicken. Would not recommend the lobster roll or fish cakes to anyone.

We had a very enjoyable meal but we wouldn't choose the swordfish next time as it was tough and chewy. A few more vegetarian options would be good too.
